Good to be here!

My name is Val, I am a French expatriate living in England. I have just given up my job as a civil engineer after 12 years in the UK construction industry because I'd had enough of the commute and the rat race!

I am now working from home in various ventures:
- cake making (wedding, birthdays, cupcakes etc), so still in engineering somehow!
- as a distributor for a greeting cards publisher: very sociable, very enjoyable, that's the bit that gets me out of the house!
- as an internet business owner, learning the ropes, having fun along the way, and hopefully making some money too!

I am here to meet people, similarly-minded or not, share home-business experiences, do business with, and to learn and laugh with!
