Quick notes about me...
Wife, mother of two kids.
Just started a few months back working from home where I help people go green with their household goods or mentor them to help others go green.
So far it is going great. It feels great helping people with thier concerns of eco-friendly products, getting fit, and being safe for thier kids.

Would love to hear more about going green at home...

Well, I have loved my journey going to green. Obviously, we have all watched as our society is becoming more aware and more understanding that we have to start giving back and doing more for the Earth or we are going to deplete her of her great resources. Unlike those movies, where the aliens are in search of a new planet because they have used up all of their natural resources, we are not that technologically advance yet to travel between galaxies looking for a new planet. So - we have to make an effort. My business is about helping people do this in their homes - by showing them a company that sells household cleaners, personal hygeine products, candles, nutrition cereals,bars,protein shakes, etc., and much more. It allows you to buy at whole sale prices, bigger sizes, and is actually an affordable way for people to "go green". What's great is that when I started they insist that I try things to make sure I am in support and if I wasn't - then I could send it all back and get a full refund - nice huh?

healthylivingfromhome...Earth Day must have been a big deal then for you and your company...I know I was definitely trying to be more conscientious about my own life. My grocery store was giving away free tote bags yesterday.

You know it was. My family and I went out by our river walk and picked up trash. It was great so I was able to blog about it on my website and how now only does the company focus on going green but the people who are driving the company are inspired to make big efforts. It was great!!!

How long have you been involved with this? Is it making money?

What is great about going green, is, I work at 5 different schools and all 5 are very conscious of where trash is sorted and the how's and whys they are sorted this way.

Earth Day was even better. Some classes went down the neighborhoods picking up trash that surround the schools. This was a good lesson to teach our little ones the importance of not throwing your trash down where it doesn't belong.

I have been with it for a month and so far so good. It's kind of slow but that's because I choose for it to be slow. I don't believe in hassling my family to be my first customer. I want them to sign up because they want to not because we are family. So, since I'm going that route it's slow because you have to get the word out. But I just had a big ad run with a magazine and some google ads going. So fingers crossed.

Understandable. Do you do any PPC or Internet marketing? I not much into the warm market thing either.
