Howdy everyone! This looks like an exciting and informative community.

With the housing market where it is, being a work from home Mortgage Lender has had it's challenges. I am now on a venture to find something "supplemental" to support my life as a single mom with 2 children.

The freedom I have had as a loan officer has been so wonderful. I did the whole "call center" thing for a while, but with my financial background and love of reading I am looking for a new work from home opportunity, legitimate of course = )

Any ideas to help with my research would be appreciated!

The freedom is addicitve, and hard to let go, isn't it? Your goal should be to find an opportunity that can generate a full-time income for you fairly quickly, so that you can avoid going back to that call center.
Why don't you give us a little information about what kind of opportunity you are looking for? Do you want to be involved with direct sales, MLM, affiliate marketing? Do you have a particular industry you want to get into? Do you want to be in an internet business, or something more warm-market-based?
Also, what are your income goals, how soon do you need to achieve them, and how much do you have to invest? Lastly, do you have a budget for marketing your business, or do you need to learn the fine art of effective free internet marketing?
