50 Posts?

Good morning everyone,
I was just wondering why 50 posts are necessary to go into some of the rooms?

Hi Longrider and welcome to THB

The post rules are put into place in order to keep spammy posts out. We want to ensure that our members are 100% protected against spam, so in order to post in certain areas, the post limit is in place. This ensures that members are actually serious about being part of the forum, and not simply here to place ads and such.

I hope that helps clear it up a bit

Just find topics that you are interested in and post replies, you'll have your post limit in no time

I think it's a great idea as well. I don't think anybody likes spam

It was one of the ideas i conjured with our ex-owner Paul. I'm glad you all loved the idea as well.

You see, unlike other forums which charge you for access to their elite-members only area, we do not and do not intend to.

However, we want members who are serious with the forum to enjoy such priviledges unlike members who post once and leave and just leaving their website links around.

I'm sure Dave, our new owner will agree...
