I will say this also. For network marketing purposes- and actually about any situation in today's world, filling people's needs rather than "selling something or them" is a much more comfortable way to build a team- and the results is high profits! I do not put my focus on selling anyone or anything- but instead on seeing if there is a good fit with the person who is looking for their own needs to be filled. I have every confidence that if they are willing and will spend some time and effort- that we can teach them how to be very successful- and that includes those that have had no "sales" experience. Of course, it helps to have a wonderful comp plan AND a wonderful product- without either I would not have been involved whatsoever.

Chad,If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been with GRN? How much does it cost to make it work? I know many companies will let you join for free but after you do then you realize that without spending a certain amout of cash the program will not work for you. What are the real figures?

Sales is a great background to have. One of the easiest things to do on the internet is sales and marketing. If you want me to share some of my ideas to start with just go ahead and pm me. Or just talk to anyone here, most of us know what works and what to stay away from.

Since you are in retail. Bring that skill up online.

Sell something on eBay for example to gain some experience. Of course, you have to learn as you go along. Important is to take action!

Whatever you decided to do you must be behind it 100%. If you can't stand behind the product or service you are offering then chances are you it will probably fail, as you will quickly lose interest and you attention will go else where.

Find something that interests you, do plenty of research, then come up with a plan on how you can run a business with your interest in mind and still keep it original and a step ahead of the others.
