Thanks vabeaty for the warm welcome. Well before I was a stay at home mom I worked in the customer service field and in banking. I am open to just about anything that is legit and with low or no start up cost. Do you happen to know if those survey sites are really worth it?

Survey sites a a good way to make some extra money but here are some things to look out for when using them.

1. NEVER pay to join a survey site. You can find the same thing at free to join sites.

2. Many of the better paying surveys require a credit card to sign up for a "free trial" of the business. They are hoping that either you like it and continue to pay OR that you forget you signed up for the trial and they auto charge your card.

3. Use a "throw away" email account because you are going to get a TON of email offers. Never use your main email account.

Finally do not expect to make hundreds of dollars a month. Most of the free to join sites offer bonuses for referring people to the site. Once you get wrapped up in the time to refer people you will find you are spending way more hours than you expected and not making what you want.
