The Bay Area was getting too expensive, congested, and noisy for me. I got a job offer in Santa Fe, so I decided to relocate. After 15 years, I still terribly miss the ocean though. Now, I live on 5 acres in the country.

Yes it is expensive and noisy here in California. I'm always lost when I go to San Francisco and it's a noisy city, but San Francisco is a great place and has a beautiful beach. However, I am glad you got away and see you got the job at Santa Fe.
