Default Easiest website building tool

Hello~

What is the easiest website building tool you know?

That's for more than one page.

Thanks!

I would have to go with Xsite Pro. I haven't really messed with wordpress to much yet but it apparently is very popular with all the things you can do with it. But Xsite Pro is extremely easy to use, especially for someone who knows nothing about html code.

I think a lot depends on what type of site you want to build.

If you are not a web designer at all, you can use Wordpress. Wordpress has a ton of free templates you can find on the net to change the look and layout of your site.

Many people think that it can only be used for BLOG's, but that is not true. You can setup your site to have only "static" pages if you want to.

If you want a sales page and Opt-In lists, you may want to use something else. NVU is a decent program for doing this.

With anything you choose, you will have a bit of a learning curve. Like most things in life, the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

I'll add another vote for wordpress. You won't find an easier way to build websites after you have learned wordpress.

Hi Bob, I believe that will wordpress block your account if you use their system for direct marketing. I know it used to be that way.

To clarify, though, I was referring to Wordpress blogs and after rereading this thread I see mention of website building, so my comment may be way off, Bob. Why not inquire from wordpress itself?

I'm looking for something similar but need an optin page, and according to one of the comments above it appears wordpress doesn't provide that feature.

I'll be doing some research here before long, so maybe we can keep each other informed.
