Davina, Sometimes you really need to give your kids some breathing space. 30? LOL! That's a terribly long time to be under mom's radar. Teach them how you think what you think and they'll be fine. Most kids which become too liberal wasn't taught the right fundamentals wanted by their parents and if you keep someone under wraps for too long, one day they might just burst the bubble and that could have some negative consequences as well. Well, to each his own I guess. I sincerely applaud you for your efforts and hope everything turns out the way you want them... => Starting A Home Business Tips

I think the reason I am the way I am is because my parents were just wretched. Just horrible, icky people from which I had to separate myself. I was in fostercare from 12 to 16. At which time my mother was forced to take me back. I was there for about two weeks and have been on my own since. I just want my children to know that I care about them and what happens to them. I don't want any of the things that happened to me to happen to them. Last year, in my small town, this 15 year old boy lured a 9 year old boy to his house to watch internet porn and well, icky stuff. I was like, my baby is 9. Well, he was at the time. I was hoping I could get them to at least 30 without having something horrible, ick, nasty poo happen to them. But one of the moms, the real 'Ice Cream Lady', for whom I fill in for from time to time, is like me in that she basically doesn't let her kids out of her sight except at school. My kids have never slept over at anyone's house, I allow sleepovers at mine, but I haven't let them go anywhere. She's the same way. So we've decided that we can let our kids spend the night at each other's houses because we'll both watch the kids like hawks. lol My husband always says, "Paranoid, much?" I found one person to whom I'm willing to trust my children to. I think I'm expanding. Who knows...I may even let them date when they are 25. lol |

That is some great advice on sticking with it, and making it happen. I am currently with Global Domains International. Right now I am struggling, but that is going to happen at first. I am not making a penny right now, but I am already loving this business! Geez, I wonder how much more I am going to love it once I start building a huge downline and earning thousands per month?! I have never had the problem/luxury of loving a job to the point where you can't sleep at night. I have never had a job I can say I really like. Now it is my turn to find something longterm I can enjoy! If there is anybody who would love to try out GDI, then my website link is BrandonHooks.ws. Scroll down to the bottom and fill in the red ticket information, and then hit go. Sincerely, Brandon. |

Hi Brandon, I've been with GDI a while back and no longer in it... It's too slow for my liking. Wish you all the best. => Starting A Home Business Tips

I thought I'd weigh in here on GDI. Here's the thing: are you going to make a full-time income with GDI? Well, the payout is $1/month per person in your downline, so if you build a downline of thousands, than I guess you could. But that's probably not what you want to do, eh? But, that doesn't mean that GDI can't make you massive profits...just not the way you'd think. I personally use GDI as a Funded Proposal tool. Let me explain. When people join GDI with me, they've done three things: 1) Put a tiny bit of residual income in my pocket, and established a relationship with me 2) Identified themselves as a serious, qualified prospect for my main business opportunity...and paid me to do it! (sure beats buying leads, eh?) 3) Equipped themselves with a domain and website, which they will want to have for my main business anyway. That's the basics of it. There are tons of free marketing methods to promote the GDI business to get those prospects. My personal favorite is GDITeamBuilder This provides you with free opt-in email leads for you to double-confirm in your autoresponder. One upload a day, and you've got fresh prospects, a few of those will sign up for GDI, and a few those few will sign up for your primary business. Kinda cool, eh? |

Davina, I am the same way with my son. He gets a bit upset with me but in this day and age it's scary to let them go and have their own experiences. I'm 39 and it is definitely not the same world I grew up in. There are only a few houses he is allowed to go to on his own, I know the moms very well. But, everyone is welcome at my house. |
