I just realized...

You know, I woke up this morning and went about my daily routine, getting the hubby up for work, getting my children ready for school, letting my dogs out to do their business, and I suddently realized that I Work From Home!

Now, laugh if you must, because honestly, I have been working from home for quite some time now, but it just really hit me this morning for some reason. My dream of being a work at home mom had finally come true, and I am really not sure when the transaction took place.

I mean, I know when I started staying home, but I realized today that this is not a part time or temporary thing. I have found myself, and I am a work from home mother

It started last year about this time when I lost my job in county government. After our county election didn't go our way, there were many of us that were laid off. That was my kick in the pants to do something, because after all, I was providing half of our household's income. After years of dreaming about working from home, I finally had to do something. I never quit my jobs before because I was so scared that I would make a fool of myself and fail miserably in the work from home field. So I stayed working outside the home, until I had no choice.
When I started looking for ways to work from home I tried everything, and for months the paid-to programs and sites that offer you thousands if you just sign up people were all I knew about working from home. I did fail miserably at that. I had an affiliate site, even though I didn't really know much about affiliate sites, and I may have made $100 from September to March. That's when I started thinking about working outside the home again, but something held me back. I started thinking about what I really wanted to do with my life, and once I realized that writing is everything I have ever wanted, I had my business plan. Then it was simply a matter of getting myself known as a writer. The first couple months weren't great, but by May of this year, I was doing pretty well. October has been my best month so far, and I only look for it to get better. I have made, so far this month, more money than I ever did at an outside job. And that made me realize this morning that I really am working from home.
Long post, I know, but I said all that to say this:
You CAN see your dream of working from home come true. Believe me, if I can do it then you can too. Figure out what it is that you really want to do and get started. It really is that simple. Once you know what you want, just keep at it until you wake up one morning and realize that you are working from home too
