All of you are so so correct. Fendi is right about selling an opportunity, but it is about how you can help people.
For me it is about how the products can help people and then I focus on the opportunity. As with any network opportunity if the product/service can't help people than the opportunity probably won't either.
Sorry, but that is just a cold hard fact. No one wants to do something that no one else will want or need.
The focus should be on the other person. Relationshipping is huge!! Get to know them, their families, and situation. Remember there may be a time that you have to tell someone that it is not the right time for them. It can also be hard when you feel close to someone and they decide that the opportunity is not right for them(this has happened more than once to me). I understand that what is right for me may not be right for others, but once you get to know people it does make rejection harder. Keep looking forward because you will find someone that you can help and that makes it a blessing. I love to hear success stories about how much the products have helped people. It is just so heartwarming.
