Smile What if have several sites? use rotator?

Hey,

If I have several websites, how does it work if I use a "rotator"? Do I just advertise one website and then mysteriously people also get sent to the other sites? Can anyone fill me in how that works?

Thanks!

A redirect like this will get you into trouble with Google. This is not a good idea.

Rotators can be good, when used in the right place and manner. Like Jamison said, if you are using a search engine like google to promote your rotator url, it can get you into trouble because its not the same site every time.

First, let me explain rotators. A rotator is a site where you can enter several urls to businesses you have or other opportunities, then promote them using a single url. When people click this url, they are sent to a random site within the rotator depending on what the settings are. (Each one has different settings)

When setting up a rotator, the sites you put in should all be related, that way people aren't confused when they click on a link, because all the sites are similar.

The best places to use a rotator is in a Traffic engine, or a link exchange. When the rotator link is in a traffic engine, people won't be as confused because they are being taken to a random site anyway. In a link exchange, you can put a general description under the link that describes all of the sites in the rotator (why you put similar sites in there), so they will have a general idea of the site they are going to see in the link.

I hope this information helps you out.
