Yes,

You need to place a physical postal address at the end of your autoresponder messages as well.

That is interesting. I don't have a physical mailing address. I live one mile from where they would leave my mail. I don't have a mail box. I will have to look into this further. We use a PO Box. I don't trust having my mail left that far from my house.

That's interesting Fendi, I have never heard of this. Do you think its just for corporations and not small or solely owned ones? The reason I ask is that I have signed up to many autoresponders since the CAN-SPAM act was invoked, and I have never once seen a physical address in any of them. Besides, I don't see how that would really help. Those who are spamming can just make up a fake address, and those who are truly in legitimate business have their address all over the world, opening the door up for loads of trouble.

Well i guess its a loophole that have been exploited... people using fake addresses... I guess PO Boxes are fine.

It's just an act just like the millenium copyright act...

i have some highly responsive email list, about 6 or 7 of them, each with 10,000 email leads. they are targeted for home business leads. if anyone wants to buy one from me, send me a pm and we can work something out.

You might try harvesting e-mail leads from social networks where others have interest in your product. You will be building a list in the making of current and future prospective customers. I received only .001 Conversion rate for purchased e-mails, that's one in one thousand.

yes, purchased emails are usually a waste of money. Mrtris is right, you need to harvest leads from places that target your businesses niche. another good way to get targeted leads is to build a landing page where they must fill in their name and email address then have them redirected to your offer

Better than purchasing an email list would be to find someone in your market that already has a list and form a joint venture(JV).
