It sounds like you are encountering what we call in this industry a 'Dreamstealer'...a friend or relative whose negativity threatens your success and tries to 'steal your dreams'.
I have a young lady in my business whose husband kept telling her that she was wasting her time, that the money she had invested to get on board was money wasted...then she shut him up by buying them a new grill with some of the profit from her first sale.
The BEST way to put a sock in that dreamstealer's mouth is to keep an unshakable positive mindset and attitude, market your business, follow up with your prospects, and make sales. When you are successful, no one can criticize you, or if they do, you can just laugh at them for being small and petty.
For right now, what I recommend is that you set aside a private area to use as your workplace, and make it clear that you are working on your business and not to be disturbed. Be firm about this, and depending on your relationships and personal preference, you can either politely ask people who are being negative to keep their negativity to themselves, or tell them to STFU if you are obnoxious like me
Hope that helps!

STFU? You will have to explain that one to me.... never mind I just got it lol. Never could say that one to grandma, even the acronym cuz she'll ask me to explain it.
Mostly its just her being negative. My mom also saw that I could make money online, and she doesn't put me down, although she doesn't support me either.
I do have a private area as my workplace. I have a small office set-up in her patio room, which before wasn't used. The problem is that one; even though I am an adult, living in her house I am considered a child; and two, it doesn't matter what I am doing when I am back here, I'd better come when she calls. I guess the only thing that will satisfy her is to get those checks rolling in. Then she will be asking me for money

damned if I do, and damned if I don't.
I know your solution will be to move out. I've come to that conclusion months ago. But when you don't drive, and can't find stable daycare, a regular job seems impossible. That is why I am doing what I am doing in the first place. When I can get a stable income from this, I will move.
