I think money can buy happiness for those who don't have much ... only because it relieves the STRESS of always struggling to make ends meet. So, in that sense it can buy happiness to a degree.

great that everyone here thinks money cannot buy happiness and i thought i was the only one. money certainly makes the world go round though that goes without saying. i suppose money helps you do so much and gives you more choice so you feel better but money definitely cannot buy you long term happiness. look at Elvis - on his death bed he said had so much money but never knew any true happiness......

i don't believe money can buy happiness but making money online certainly can relieve folks from money worries that's for sure.

Good post James! I have to agree. I believe true wealth is a lot of other things besides money. IMO, some of what makes up true wealth include:

good friends

healthy relationships

health

love

peace

I am sure I am leaving some things out...
