Can money buy happiness?

I know this is one of those types questions that is always tossed around but I'm curious how the rest of the online earners would answer this. Personally, I see as a very valuable tool and a resource to achieve greater things, and as a way to measure how well my work efforts are going, but not an end in itself.

Three or four years ago I had a second business. Why not? Everyone wants to make more money, right?

Even though the business was making money, I shut it down. Between it and my primary business there was too much work and not enough play time.

You should be relieved from Mental Stress but money cant give you all the said happiness

Money can buy short term happiness...

Long term happiness starts from within...

I have to agree, while having enough money to make you comfortable can certainly lessen stress and help you to feel happier, I believe that happiness depends largely on your relationships with God and family. Just my country Baptist upbringing, but it hasn't failed me yet

Money doesn't buy happiness, it's buys us CHOICES.

But being happy FIRST is what makes the choices even sweeter.
Being happy first regardless of the money we make.

But making money at home....certainly helps with the happiness part because it gives us the sense of accomplishment, too.

Can buy happiness? YES - literally. Figuratively? like remembering when your new born child smile at you? Don't think so

I agree...money can buy short term happiness.

But happiness is what YOU make of it. Simple but true.

Being without money makes you think that money could make you much happier. But its really the state of mind that brings true happiness!

Yes i have to agree money only buys short term happiness. It sure is nice to not have to stress about it though when you can pay all the bills and have some left over thank God for those times.
