I have been into using article sites for a little while to promote my sites and get backlinks. It does get you lots of links and some traffic...and I have installed the script to run my own article site. It's pretty good, and is free to download and use.

I was wondering if anyone has had success with article sites and if anyone owns their own site. I can see tons of potential with owning one, and before I go ahead and add that to my strategy I just wanted some pointers.

he only article site that I know of is Review Stream. It is more of a review site. The first two reviews that I sent them earned $1.50 each, the next three 0.30. It seems thay have a bulk rate system, and they pay you that for some reviews.
There are many article sites on the net - which accept your articles. But basically are you looking for article sites where you can write and submit articles which concern your site> Then the list gets very small.
