December/January Competition

Okay everyone, it's time for a new competition!

Since Christmas Vacation is upon us, we're going to run this competition through the end of January. Here are the prizes:

The top 2 competitors will each get a link on the forum homepage. First place listed first, and second place listed 2nd.

Here's what you need to do to win the competition:

Get as many backlinks as you can to this page that say either "wholesale dropship" or "wholesale dropship products from home."

Here are some rules & guidelines:

• Anyone can participate, including mods if they so choose
• No trash links. Links from spamming or links from link farms wont count
• Only 1 link per domain will count
• Get links from anywhere, including articles, your own sites, directories
• Links must be permanent, they cannot be just up for the competition & then taken down

**Just PM me on the 1st or 2nd of February with your list of backlinks. On 2/3/08 I'll post the top 2 competitors here & they will get their home page links.

FYI: The top 2 winners from the November competition haven't claimed their prizes yet, and if they don't we're going to add their prizes to this Dec/Jan competition. That makes the prize purses absolutely huge for this competition!!!

If 1st & 2nd place for Novemeber don't claim their prizes by the time we're awarding the top 2 competitors for the Dec/Jan competition described above, here's what the top 2 people will get at that point:

1st place: $50 + a pagerank 7 link worth $600 + a homepage link from this forum's homepage
2nd place: $20 + a homepage link from this forum's homepage

well, will still have a lot of time, and who knows, on february 1rst, someone pmed dave with thousands. lol

Hopefully you're right mann3r, but I can pretty accurately track the amount of action by looking at the pages pointing to that URL through Yahoo (backlinks to www.talkhomebusiness.com/dropship/).

At this point there looks to be very little participation, so someone may walk away with a huge prize purse for only obtaining 15 or 20 backlinks!

Well, I'm going to be away until February 5th. Anyone that has been involved with this competition, IM me with th elist of backlinks you've gotten by February 5th. When I get back on the 5th I'll verify the lists and announce the winners.

For all you procrastinators; here's your chance to get into the competition. Based on the backlinks we have had a handful of links obtained, but no one seems to have gotten more than 5 or so. Anyone still has a shot at getting these HUGE prize payouts still!

This sounds too easy Dave, but please explain it to me in laymans terms.
What do I have to do?

It's as easy as it sounds; get links to the page I mentioned from domains out on the web. Use the text I specified for the blue hyperlink text, and that's all there is to it. The person that gets the most links wins.
