Creating a "scammers" section or even a "spammers" section is not the point of the forum. We do not support that. We are trying to keep this forum clean and a place where people can come together to ask questions and learn from one another about home-based businesses and internet marketing.

It'll just fill up with accusations and complaints and arguments. If somebody scams you, and you have proof, then report it and they will be banned (and of course, you can get your money back, and take it further if you like). If you are careful enough, then you will record every transaction you make online and so it'll be pretty hard for anybody to scam you. In my opinion, this wouldn't be a good move. |

I would agree. In reality, a scam board is negative and focuses on the wrong thing. The closest we need to get to a scam board is already here. Business Opportunity Reviews. We really need to direct our attention to real and established companies. There are thousands of new companies with the latest, greatest offerings coming out everyday. Most of them will fail before the year is out. The products themselves may or may not be any good at all. Mostly they will not be worth a dime, never mind $47 dollars or whatever. Once you find a good company... use your time to educate yourself and promote your new business instead of reading about other opportunities (read: scams). At least until you are well established in that company. Usually people bounce around from opp to opp because they aren't achieving the results they had hoped for. But is that the solution? The reality we must accept if we want to be successful in business is if the company in question has been making money for a lot of other everyday people, then the problem is us... not the company. So what can we do about it? First, be sure the company you want to work can actually deliver what it says it does. Then spend 50% of your time training yourself in the company, in the products, in marketing, in self inspiration... whatever you want that's strictly for your personal development. Spend the other 50% of your time actually building your business. This activity specifically refers to promotional activities... posting, mailing, phone calls, follow up etc. I honestly believe that time is too precious to waste it reading about scams. And we won't fall into a scams if we stop jumping into every glitzy thing that suddenly hits the air waves. My opinion for what it's worth. Tula |
