I was in touch yesterday with a firm that wanted $9.95 to ship a starter package, which, if I liked it, would only cost me $69 for 5 months, once i launched my own internet sales business. They would not charge me for goods until I receive my money from the customers. They warehouse and sell products lower. I need to check them out on the web, but I believe it's called Internet Speedway. She kept pushing for my debit card number although I explained to her that I was driving. Have you heard of this firm?

Regarding the warehousing business: You accept the package, which includes tools to start up your own website. As people search on-line for goods, which can electronics, housewares, personal items, they are sent to your website. You actually select the types of products you want to sell. Your order comes out of the warehouse, direct to the consumer, and you are paid via PayPal. You then pay the company. I don't know if they take it or you transfer it, I need to check. I am glad you reminded me of this service, I have to go in and check it out.
On another note, I am an affiliate of MyPowerMall, where you set up a mall and when people sign up under your code and shop on line under your code, you get checks in the mail. This business requires no investment, period. Want to check out my link? (Is it against this site's rules to promote my business yet?)

Many work from home opportunities seem like scams often because the expectations are so high, and then it takes a lot longer and a lot more work than expected. I'm doing some affiliate marketing and I'm still learning (but getting a lot better!)

The truth is, if you think your going to make fast, easy, money, it's a scam. There is nothing like good ole fashion hard work. Just because we may get to stay in our pj's on somedays does not mean it is fast or easy.

Cheers

I couldn't agree with you more. I work much harder, and spend many more hours working since I started working online. Of course, I do get to toggle my schedule more, but operating a home business is anything but easy

There are so many scams out there that it makes it much harder for those of us involved in legitimate business opportunities to succeed. I will, however, continue to succeed in spite of them. We have a team of over 100 members all working together. It's an awesome concept.

That's the attitude that we should all have Let them scam all they want, we won't stand for it, and we definitely will not let them get us down

Sometimes it not the business opportunity that is the scam, but the individual who brought you in. This was my experience. The company I was recently a member of is, from my understanding, a very legitimate company.

Unfortunately, the person who brought me into it was all about the money than me as an individual. He took my money and I received very little training. I never learned how to do the business. In fact, one of our business associates who supported the autoresponder, kicked him out because he had been receiving too many complaints about not returning phone calls or helping the members in the group.

Anyway, I just cut my losses and moved on. I like the company I am with much more. In fact, I am considered to be one of the leaders within this company. But, I have received tons of support and trainings from this company. It goes to show that a little help or even a lot can go a long way. I have only been with them for four months and I am doing well.
