I have noticed that the current contest that we are currently running is having a hard time, seems its hard for members to gain that number of posts in a new forum, so I have decided to change the rules

Winner 1:
- $100 in your Overtrue account.

Winner 2:
- $50 in your adWord account.

The winner will be given a url which when you sign up under, your account will be accredited with those amounts.

This will be a referral contest, meaning the members who refers the biggest number of members will get the $100 with overtrue, and the 2nd member who refers the biggest number of members will get the $50 with adwords.

Keep in mind that you must refer at least 8 members to win the 1st prize and at least 5 members to win the 2nd prize, each member you refer will have to post at least once on the forums for him to be counted.

There are two ways for members to signup under you:

1- When filling the registration form, ask the member to fill the referrer field with your nick name here.
2- You can use the following url to refer members and they will be added to your referral list:
EX: http://www.talkhomebusiness.com/index.php?referrid=[Your ID]
Usage: http://www.talkhomebusiness.com/index.php?referrid=12

You can get your id by going to you profile, look at the url in your browser and you'll find your ID.

Please don't use any annoying ways to get members to signup under you, for instance sending pm's to people at others forms asking them to signup.

You can always add you referral url in your forum sig's and telling your friends or family etc.

Good idea ... do you have any banners and/or buttons (buttons preferrable) designed for the forum that we can use with our referrer link as I'd prefer to place buttons on my site rather than text.

There are a couple of banners actually, but they where designed for the old skin, I'll have some done in a couple of days and let you guys know about it here.

It's a good idea to change it. More members means more post. This makes it harder. But j/w. I haven't seen anything, but is there anywhere you can see how many referrals somone has gotten just so you know.

Yes you can, check out the public profile for any user and you'll find the number of referrals the members has.

Nope, you can only view the referrals induvidual. It would have been nice to see an update of it!

So i checked them all and here is an update of it:
