Just a quick question, I am building a niche site and I was going to use article marketing to get it started. I bought article bot but I wanted to know how many times should I submit the same article to article directories in order to avoid being accused of spamming?

you can submit the same article to as many article directories as you can find - you won't be accused of spamming, but some people like to slightly change an article for every few directories they submit to

You can change the title and slight change in first paragraph for maximum benifit. However I saw same article from different directory ranked in google's first position.

I agree with chandan. Change the title, first and last paragraph, delete or add a few paragraphs in the body. Also, optimize it for 'other' long tail keywords. That way your article can be ranked well for multiple keywords. For optimum effect rewrite the article to at least 50% unique and submit them to different sets of article directories rather than submitting the same article to all directories. Lian |

You can submit the same article to as many places as you'd like. Content syndication is natural. You should NOT spin the article and submit it multiple times to the same place! In a recent interview, Chris Knight of EzineArticles.com revealed that they have software that compares several random complex sentences, looking for spun articles, as well as PLR articles, and that they catch and reject these articles. Chris also revealed that they have a huge database of rejected articles that they compare your submissions against. Bottom-line, as long as your submit unique, useful content to the article directories, you'll be ok. If you do anything that hurts their business, and puts their search engine rankings at risk, will get you banned, and your content deleted. |

Article marketing can be about quality and quantity. Quality gets you direct visitors, higher PR and good exposure to perhaps become the expert in a niche. Quantity gets you backlinks, which help your SE rankings. Two very different things. I use both methods, but with the quantity strategy I make sure my article is at least readable and mildly interesting - not like some of the spun rubbish out there. The last thing you want to do is destroy your credibility with a horribly written article. |

I've never had an issue with submitting the same article to various article directories and I know others that can say the same. However, there are many that don't agree with this.

I've posted the exact article on several article sights and I've gotten them all published. I usually publish on Ezine Articles, firstly, then I re-submit them to Articles.base, ArticleSnatch and Articlebase ( I haven't had much luck with Articlebase... The sight seems to be off and on line??? ) Anyway, I just got two accepted today, so I'll repost them later. :-) Hope that helps. Angela M. Thompson |
