Hi ItsALLaboutU, welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure what you're asking? But if it's related to which of the 2 would be the best domain name, I would go with the first one because .com is the most professional and businesslike, as well as the most searched for if the person only remembers the actual name. Basically, it's the same with the hyphen - people will often forget it and give up when they type in the name without the hyphen and get an error message.

But they both seem a little wordy. I'm no expert, but short and punchy is more memorable if that's of any help to you.

As far as domains go, testing has shown that domains without hyphens are usually more effective. That being said, there is not enough information. There are more variables that need to be considered.

If you are serious about your business, I would recommend purchasing multiple domains and going through the testing process. The only way to know for sure is to test. Domains are cheap. A small increase in conversions can make a huge difference to your bottom-line.

Good post. This is exactly right. I usually purchase between 5 and 10 domains for testing purposes. Having the right domain will effect your click-through rates. Sometimes the domain you thought would be most effective, isn't.

My 2 cents, I would go for keyword1keyword2.net cause I had some good results with .net domains ~~ no hyphen

I don't prefer hyphen in domain name. Main problem is people will forget your domain name.

Agreed. Don't use the hyphen in your domain name. Can you change one of the keywords so that you can get keyword1keyword2.com? That would be be most optimal.

Using a hyphen in a domain name is probably not the best thing to do. With testing between .com and .net I have seen better results with .com domains then .net domains.

I would not use the .net domain but sense you will have to get the .com domain with the hyphen in it I would then have to go with the .net domain name.

Dave
