I've started taking on some more clients lately and up until now have mostly just done work for myself (and think I may actually like that better! lol) Anyway, I'm curious how you collect your fees... With the project I'm working on now - I agreed to take half up front and half upon completion. With these clients I'm not really worried about it however I'm not so sure if that is really the smartest. Do you collect all your fees upfront? I'd really like to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance |

I think it's only fair to collect some up front and then the rest of it at the end when the project is completed. obviously, you'll need some kind of contract in place.

I do a half and half deal with them.
