I have been marketing online for a couple of years.It was difficult in the beginning but now it´s become easier, a daily routine.

I market my site with articles, social sites and forums.Blog commenting is one of my favorite marketing methods.Also, I highly recommend you start building an email list right from the beginning.

We started our company in Nov. Currently, we are spending our time learning. That is the biggest key. Personally, we avoid the click and buy people. A lot can be learned by visiting forums, reading blogs, and reading the google help menu. One thing you need to know is that it's not easy but if you are persistant and dedicated you will succeed. Failure is a choice not a certainty.

Well, when I was marketing, I was having success. But as people sometimes do I got lazy, and stopped for a minute. I'm now working to ramp things back up.

When I first started learning about free advertising and marketing methods, I used Traffic Exchanges, Classified ads, and Safelists. These are good starts for a neophyte in marketing, as they all raise your ranking in the search engines. But there are more directly effective ways to market, as I've learned in later months.

Now, my focus is Article Marketing, Video Marketing, and forum posting. I do a little blogging every now and again, and I'm looking to make commenting part of my strategy as well. These are more effective ways of marketing, as the people that click your link are truly interested in what you have, rather than being smacked with it whether its their interest or not.

My advice to you is to learn these latter pieces of marketing, and find a routine to do these every day, and never let up. The methods I mentioned earlier will get the counter rolling, but if you want truly targeted traffic, the latter ways are the true way to do it.
