What is the best way to promote a new website.

1st of all your nick is hard to type out really..

To promote your site, you can write articles and submit
them to article directories like eZinearticles, GoArticles etc.

Just place a link back to your site in the resource box.

You can also place your website links in your forum signature
and then contribute useful information in forum discussions.

When people like your contributions, they will click on your
link. (Trust me, someone will click on my link below for this
post )

You can use a blog to promote your site.

If you have funds, you may use Pay Per Click marketing like
Google Adwords.

I use Craigslist to advertise however I think the information shared about (eZinearticles, GoArticles) is a good idea. Also what I do is I use my vacation responce in yahoo. For example when I get spam or emails from friends or people responding to my CL ads, a vacation responce is shot back with information on it. I have a few websites but the main one is THE WAH List Work at home.... |. It takes time however if the site has some good content word of mouth will also carry it far. I update and work on my site almost everyday. It's important to not only let people know about it but again give them a reason to want to come back.

Pay Per Click does work if you know how.

It can get expensive if you don't know how.

Let me give you an example.

If you spend $100 on PPC but your profit from
your campaigns is $500, do you think it's
expensive?

But if you spent $100 on PPC but you make
nothing, do you think it's expensive?

Go learn more about PPC before you dwelve
in it otherwise it could burn a huge hole in
your pocket.

Perhaps you have to buy a course on PPC
but if it serves your purpose to make profits,
think of it as a sound investment.
