I am considering a post card campaign. Has anyone tried this strategy before with much luck? Any preferred vendors you use? Can they assist with targeted mailing lists? Thanks. |

Joe, I have not had a postcard campaign but if you ask me I'd say go and try it out. Test it. => Talk Home Business Blog Tips

Fendi- Yeah, I'll be doing a test soon. I'll let the forum know of my results. Keep testing until you hit something that's very effective I guess. Later, |

Post Cards are great to advertise. Either use a plain white one or one that has a picture of a beach scene on one side. Also make sure the writing of your message is not typed. use something that looks like hand writing. Jeffrey A. Solochek NoSugarCoating, No Hype, No Fluff, Just Great information |

I've used postacards in my business. They do work, but I'll give you a couple of tips... 1) Handwrite your cards. If you have a fancy printed card, they typically get thrown in the trash because they look like junk mail. 2) Mail on Thursday or Friday so they are in their mailbox on Monday. 3) Count on the numbers. You'll need to send out quite a few to get response. 4) Keep the message simple. Something like "I'd like to talk to you about a ft/pt business opportunity. Call my office at xxx-xxx-xxxx." Sign with your first name only. 5) Don't include your website. You want to talk with them before they've gotten too much information. 6) Be sure to personalize the postcard. |
