I don't care for them. I can read and scan a text document much quicker, and refer back to any of the sections without having to read through the whole thing again:-)

Best Regards,
Steve MacLellan

Honestly Steve, my survey results show that most people require visual explanations with audio or direct one-on-one tutorials. Hence making video tutorials hot these days.

While reading material is just as good, not many can afford to read page after page of a 100+ manual for example. Like when you use photoshop for the 1st time for instance or even gimp. Do you want to really read about how to do stuff with it?

I highly prefer video. I learn so much more quickly with the hands on approach, and the information seems to stick with me better. Just reading some things can be ok, but if it's a task I've never done, such as all this internet and website coding and such, tutorials are so much better for me.

I could say Video Tutorials will hot when the Web 2.0 fully launching later.
The niche about Web 2.0 is that your are able to do face-to-face communicaation.
A video tell a thousand words.
