 Why?
How come like in another post of mine you can not view certain forums until you post 5 piosts but you cannot post in forums as well. Can someone please tell me why that is? Is it to see that we are serious ortaking this website serious?

I can understand the 5 post requirement before you are allowed to post. Some times spammer register, post spam and leave. So the 5 post requirement might be just a way to lessen spam. As for viewing... I'm not sure. I think it's a good idea to let people view a forum/post so this way they can get to know the community. And decide whether this is the right community for them to join. just my $0.02  |

Gabesmommie and pkyi - As part of our revamp, we are doing some tests. We want to ensure our members get the best experience possible. We also want guests to become members instead of just viewing posts after posts and leave. Our aim is to create a family here... Yes, we used to have quite a bit of spammers here in the past and some members were not happy about it...

Honestly, I get enough spam in my emails. I really appreciate the fact that I don't have to endure them here.

I know what you mean Mary. I constantly "preach" to my children about not revealing their, or my, email address. My spam filter fills up every time I check my email.

Start an email account just for this purposes then... at least you won't think its spam... lets just say its your spam email addy...
