Default E-mail marketing?

What do you think about email marketing? Is it still an effective way of marketing? Why?

I don't think this kind of marketing still works. Lots of people see it as spam.

All depends on how you are going about it. Some of the largest marketers online are "mailers". This is a fact.

I was thinking the same thing, Jamison. It's true some people view it as spam, but not all, and not every time.

Affilio, one thing that I've learned is that email should be used as a means to build relationships. While some big builders have 10s of thousands of email addresses on their list and so the sheer numbers create sales for them, most of us don't have lists like that.

If you're just starting out, use your emails to introduce yourself and create a connection with people who have opted into your mailing list or who are personal referrals in whatever business you do. In my case, by keeping my emails personal, I have folks who don't just buy some new product that I've created, they consistently purchase re-usable products month after month.

I'm not talking about just using software to make sure the email addresses them by name. I mean really personal.

Just as an example, I connected with a lady last night who is taking the flagship product formulated by my company and I noticed she'd been making some pretty big purchases and referring a lot of other customers to me as well. Here's what happened. She started the product on the 15th of June. By the 18th of June, the pain in her legs (for which doctors had not been able to find the cause) began to diminish. By the 23rd of June, she threw out her cane. A few days later she was able to start driving again after 2 years of feeling like a prisoner in her own home. She was so elated, that she took off on a road trip to take samples of this product all over the place to her friends and family.

How do you think she feels? How would you feel if you got your life back?

As a result of our conversation, she's now learned how to create additional growth in her new business so that she will have a continuously growing bank of customers who purchase from her over and over again. And as a result, I've grown my business as well. Wouldn't you agree that's a few minutes VERY WELL SPENT?

By personalizing my contact, whether it be by email, phone, letter, I feel good. And they feel good.

So it all depends on what you want to do, Affilio, but I guarantee the personal touch will help build your business.

Hey Affilio...

Good question! It's one the marketing guys at my day job have been asking too. During the day I work for a global conference company so you can imagine that in the past we used bulk email marketing as a key part of getting our information out to market.

The interesting thing we have noticed in the last 12 months is that companies like ours are moving away from mass email for the exact reason you pointed out... people ignore them, see them as SPAM or just direct the emails to a trash folder.

There is definitely a strong shift to social media (twitter, facebook, youtube, linkedin etc) and providing valuable content to entice and measure interest in a topic. We then follow that up with a call that engages the prospect and usually results in them asking for an agenda or more information and in most cases registering to attend the event.

Bringing this back to my own practices when I promote my opportunity I use social media to inspire an initial contact, whether that is a conversation, a call, an email or request for more info. What I'm after is a qualified contact, someone to show interest in what I'm doing. I don't want to waste my time on people who are 'tire kicking'.

This approach means I can not only get to know what my prospect wants but also tailor make my 'pitch' to what my prospect is about or looking for rather than taking a 'one size fits all' approach... which is what your doing if you mass email... your relying on numbers to do the work and hoping that someone will resonate with whats in your email.

Of course Tulasu is right... if you do use email and lets face it you won't completely drop it from your arsenal of communication... it's best to make it personal. People buy from those they like after all!

Overall in my business promotion I have had the most success initiating a response via social media and following up with a call. People join with me because I take the time to ask them what they want to get out of it all. Doing it this way you will build bigger than you could have thought possible and it will be stable too!!

Hope that helps!

Regards
Nigel

Of course, email marketing is still efficient! I am doing email marketing for my business and website now. It brings me 200+traffic every day! I use the iKode newsletter software, it is a opt-in email marketing software! Very impressive, maybe you can have a try! Hope to help with your business!

Email Marketing is the REAL DEAL. I have been killing it recently with emails. I can't believe how much traffic you can buy for so cheap and it's all targeted.

I actually bought Jamison Palmer's program on Email marketing and
he put the product up at www.AtoZemail.com

This is the same method that he has used to generate multiple 6 and 7 figure campaigns.

I know there were a ton of people looking for this. It did sell over 1700 copies in a 2 week period
and then he pulled the offer and it was no where to be found.

I finally found it and it's a beast. It's worth Thousands
of dollars and I can't believe he is giving it away for the
price he is. It sounds like he is only going to have it
available for a short time and then pull it for good.

This is the most comprehensive product I have ever seen
for generating massive amounts of targeted leads for any
offer or product. I mean, you can generate thousands of leads
for pennies per click, not dollars.

This works for ANY and ALL offers. I have been using the program
with Empower Network and I am getting ridiculous amounts of
clicks, opt-ins and conversions because of this product.

If you any sort of marketer, you need this. I have never seen
anything like it and I have been in the game for awhile.
You should definitely have a look at it. He has it at www.AtoZemail.com

This is a Game Changer for marketers.
