Well, Superstar, what's 'the best' to one person might not be the best to the next, but right here in this section there are 2 very good ones posted at the top of the page.

I don't know a lot about GRN, but I do know a lot about TriVita. Why not start looking at those two to see if one of them is a good fit for you? And be sure to ask questions about them... people familiar with the businesses will respond which may help you decide.

Tula

PS: And just as a warning, sometimes asking a general question like that causes perhaps well-meaning, but inexperienced folks to post about programs that they're promoting, but which in reality couldn't possibly be classified as 'the best'. With that in mind, be sure to examine closely anything that catches your attention before joining.

That's because there isn't any....j/k....I have never dabbled in MLM it seems people either love them or think they are scams. The guys trying to get you in will make you believe its the best thing since sliced bread. MLMs do seem to have a bad rap though. I did hear that Donald Trump is coming out with his own MLM if you google it you will see. That could be something to consider.

You might find Jamison's video on affiliate marketing interesting, Born2shine. There are some very credible reasons to view mlm as the best thing since sliced bread. lol It's true they have received a bad rap - and that's why it's so important to examine what makes a good mlm. Jamison goes into some of the things to look for starting right with what fields of endeavor to choose. I made a post on what the ideal company should provide for its affiliates. Really, if you follow this information and actually apply it, it's quite possible to do very well with mlm without resorting to scams. And yup! There sure are some!

Funnily enough, I'm a recent convert, but definitely not to just any old mlm. I'm incredible fussy.

If you are looking for a good MLM, consider ones that are based off subscription products where you get a monthly reoccurring commission from each person you sell to. That way after you make some sales you will have a nice monthly income, and when your under sell stuff you will get a reoccurring commission from their sales too.

There are a lot of MLM programs out there that are just money games. You want to research the programs completely and pick the one that looks good for you. It needs to have a quality product and not be competely focusing on making money. Those don't last long. Start with one that is low cost like $10/month and pays more than one $ for each referral each month. A good one to for new people who want to get into MLM would be a Coaching and Mentoring Company. Everyone, especially new comers need to have the skills to run a home business. There is longevity in this kind of Business because this is something that everyone will need always.

You can't really say that one MLM company is best. My advice to you, would be to network with some like-minded people. See who you want to work with as a team leader. meet people in the forums on Facebook wherever, and get to know them as a person. Learn from them about marketing before you decide to work with them.

Once you find the right person, the company will find YOU!

Excellent point, NakedSoul.

Although I believe that the company must be worth your trouble, because no matter how great a leader is, they don't control what the company does.

However, if you join the best company out there, but don't have good leadership, you could still fail. So a person might begin to ask, "What is a good leader?"

Well... what kind of person would you follow in your offline life?

Ethical?
Available?
Compassionate?
Knowledgeable?
Skilled?
Supportive?
Consistent?
Would they go to bat for you?
Would they lie to you?
Would they use you?
Do they inspire you?
Do they appreciate you?
Do they respect you?
Will they work with you? Train you? And help you build YOUR team?

That's a few of the things I would look for... and it can take some time to get to know a person well enough to feel that you'd like to work together with them.

Sometimes all you have to do is watch and listen for awhile to begin to see the difference in personalities, experience and ethics. Choose someone who not only is actually making money with their company, but who's also willing to share their experience with you and help you get where they are. NOT someone who just wants to sell you some eBook that supposedly will make you a super marketer by the end of next week.

Great points from everyone, network marketing (MLM) is a great industry what do you want to focus on nutrition/wellness, legal, personal development...etc. So many options to choose from as mention what may be perfect or good for me may not be for you. You have to decide exactly how you want to help people solve the problems they are looking to solve by way of offering them your products or services.

I would suggest you start with checking out some companies on the dsa.org browse the list and see what may appeal to you than come here or other places like this and ask questions of other associates/distributors in those companies; if you can call the company ask to speak to the owner, if you can great if you can't than do something else to learn more about them.

Do you research, take your time really take your time.

IMO I see many jumping on The Trump Network because of Donald Trump the man and not because of what the company has to offer by way of the opportunity, products or compensation plan. I for one want more than just a big name to be the reason I would get involved. good luck in your decision

Michelle
