1. The first TriVita product I tried was their Sublingual B-12. I knew for a fact that I had difficulty absorbing the B Complex so that seemed a good place to start. I started them late last year with high hopes, but I admit an element of skepticism. The claims did seem a little high. But within a few days I was virtually a new person. I gained an hour of productive time a day because I no longer suffered early morning brain fog. The mental energy I got seemed to effect my physical energy levels, too. I was still sleeping my normal 7 or 8 hours, but I had energy I hadn't enjoyed for years! When my husband noticed this, he said, "I want some, too." lol So I ordered him some as well and he noticed a big difference at work. He has quite a stressful job which kept him in a chronic state of exhaustion. With the help of B-12 he was able to focus much better, and thus get more done in less time, eliminating one source of stress. His boss didn't like it when he had to pay him overtime. The next thing that we both noticed is that we had better moods. Things weren't so dang irritating! It didn't mean that the irritants were gone or that we didn't notice them anymore... but it was like, "Oh well." We simply could brush things off that before got us all riled up. That has made life unbelievably more enjoyable!! 2. The second product I want to refer to is called VitaCal-Mag D and is not a product that I ordered but rather one that was included in my Enrollment Pack, so I took it just to use it up. Am I glad I did. I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast and spend a lot of time gardening and using my hands... without gloves. So I attributed my flaky, brittle nails to the abuse I put them through. At the same time, I was beginning to lose my hair. And I mean lots of it. I began to resign myself to being almost bald at some point, not something a woman looks forward to. ![]() Now please understand that when I took B-12, I was hoping for specific results and knew what to look for. With this mineral product I did not expect any visible results... I just expected it to go to my bones and nervous system. IF it was absorbed at all. I have quite a medical history when it comes to calcium supplements that I won't go into here, but I never expected to keep taking this product once it was gone. But about 3 weeks after starting on it, one day I noticed I needed to clip my nails. Now this was unheard of! For years, they just chipped and flaked away and all I did was file them to keep them more or less in shape. So I took a closer look and here the flaking was completely gone! So was the brittleness. They are still quite badly ridged, but they are no longer breaking off and are strong and supple. The hair loss seems to be minimizing as well, but it's a bit early to be sure, so I'll reserve full comment on that for the future... and I'll be watching the nail ridges as well. 3. Now while I take a number of other products, the third one that has given tangible results is almost too much to believe. And I will say, that I'm not the only one. I have a number of friends who have had phenomenal results from the newly released Sonoran Bloom Nopalea. Nopalea's prime contribution to your health is its natural anti-inflammatory components. Nopalea only arrived in Canada the middle of April this year, so my husband and I have only been on it since then. He takes the minimum dose of one ounce a day... and saw 2 results almost immediately. I'm talking within days. First, he had a very physically demanding day at work, which was unusual at the time, and he crawled home and went to bed. He knew he was going to be stiff the next day, because the same thing had happened a couple weeks before. You know how you get if you do something strenuous that your muscles aren't accustomed to doing. But he got up with not one sign of stiffness! (I will add that I have an 82 year old neighbor who has tried the bottle I gave her and she said the same thing. First 7 hour day in the garden after a winter of inactivity and she was not stiff!) The next thing I noticed was that my husband stopped snoring. Literally. Even more than that really, because he had sleep apnea and would kind of snort and gasp for air several times a night. He does not do that any longer, so we both have a more restful sleep. Now on to me personally. I'm going to sound like a living accident when I tell you this, but oh well, here goes. I have had whiplash from a fall from a horse, falling out of a moving vehicle, a boating accident and a rear end collision. I broke my tail bone slipping on ice one winter. I've badly twisted both ankles from a fall off of a roof. I have a bad knee from an old skiing injury. I have developing arthritis in my fingers, tendonitus in my left elbow and such badly inflamed sinuses that I carry a low grade headache almost constantly, my face aches and quite often my upper teeth ache so badly I'd like to just pull them out. I think I got everything. ![]() When I first started on Nopalea, I just took a couple of ounces a day, but honestly didn't get the results that others were raving about. And I really, really wanted this to work! The pain from all of my injuries and arthritis was starting to seriously interfere with my lifestyle. Then I noticed that a number of people who had achieved the most astonishing results had tried upping their dosage to 4 or more ounces a day, so I did likewise. That's when the results started to kick in for me. My husband only needed the one ounce a day, but my issues were more serious I guess and needed more. Within a couple of days of taking 2 ounces in the morning and 2 ounces at night, the sinus pain disappeared. I'm still a little stuffy, but there is ZERO pain. My arthritic fingers don't hurt. My elbow doesn't hurt. My knee doesn't hurt. My lower back doesn't hurt. There is only one thing that still gives me a little trouble, although this week there is noticable improvement - I have a very inflamed achilles tendon and it can be quite excruciating. It reminds me now and then that not all is well with that tendon, but the pain is now minimal and I expect it will disappear before long. At that point, I will start to decrease the amount of Nopalea I'm taking until I reach a level that keeps me pain free. Now Nopalea does not cure anything. But it does reduce inflammation. So if inflammation is the cause of your pain, or even of a specific condition, you could get some serious relief. If inflammation is not the cause of a condition, then Nopalea won't help it. It's as simple as that. If you go to the Sonoran Bloom link in my sig - you'll find some interesting videos on how the product was developed by the Chief Science Officer, Dr. Brazos Minshew. Another site that has nothing but Nopalea reviews is Nopalea Works. In fact, if any of you would like a free DVD that goes into the discovery of the benefits of the plants in the Sonora Desert, I'd be happy to pop one in the mail for you. Just send me your name and mailing address - by PM, though - don't post it here in the public. Hope that answers your question, Redhead. Maybe it does more than answers it. You're welcome, Redhead. The truth is, a company must produce good products in order to stay in business. I've already stressed how important I believe the company itself is to the success of your affiliate business, but there will come a point where the whole thing will collapse if the products are not up to snuff. So I'm very happy to say that I've developed full confidence in TriVita products through the above experiences and other results I've seen in my friends and family. In case any of you don't realize, you do not have to 'join' the business opportunity to benefit by TriVita products. If you have a specific health issue, you can even call TriVita's Care Centre and they will give you advice on dietary changes you could make, or on what sort of products may be helpful. They'll be careful not to make any medical claims for legal reasons, but the reason people find this department so helpful is because the staff have not only received some nutritional training, but they know TriVita products inside and out. It's a 1 800 number, so feel free to call them anytime during business hours. If you decide to order they will ask you for an ID number... which you can find in my sig file at the foot of each of my posts. Although they will permit you to order without an ID number so you could do it that way, too, if you're so inclined. The main thing is to try the various products - they truly have been designed to actually bring a wellness experience - not just to bring in a buck. If you like the product, you're most certainly able to upgrade to an Affiliate later, there's no hurry. Tula Last edited by Tulasu; 06-12-2009 at 01:29 PM. |

Just thought I'd let you know that I'll be featured on the Nopalea Testimonial call tonight with Michael Ellison and Terry Newsome. Never thought I'd see the day, but when Terry called and said that he and Michael wanted to interview me, even the fact that I will be on the road to the Nopalea event in Vancouver didn't let me off the hook. So I'll be calling in from my cell along the roadside somewhere in case you'd like to listen in. Hope I'll be able to breathe! ![]() The call happens at 8:00 pm Eastern time if you'd like to tune in. Start Time: 5:00pm PT / 8:00pm ET Length of Call: Approximately 30 minutes Dial-in information: 1-212-461-5860 (pass code: 0752#) Tula ![]() PS: And no rotten tomatoes!! |

Have blood tests been done by people BEFORE the products and then AFTER to see the positive changes made in the body? What about you personally Tula? |

There have been clinical trials done on the ingredients of many of TriVita's products. On Nopalea for example, there are some 280 papers that go back to the 1940s, but whether any of those trials involved before and after blood work, I don't know. It makes sense that there would have been, but I can't say for certain. My own experience with several of the products has been fantastic, but it's based on personal results - how I feel and what tangible results I can see in my body, not blood work. For example, the elimination of inflammation related pain, hair loss has stopped, and I sleep better and have more stable moods and an incredible amount of energy. There's even been a positive effect on my psoriasis. Going by the record amounts of Nopalea that are being sold, as one example, it appears people are super excited about the fact that we get the results we are looking for. Tula |

Well, that was fun! Met all kinds of people from BC in TriVita! Listening to Dr. Anderson was quite an eye opener. He approaches things a little differently than Dr. Brazos. For one thing Dr. Anderson is not a paid representative of TriVita as he's not on the staff. Secondly, even though he's on the faculty of medicine at UBC, he still has an active practice in which he sees patients everyday. Dr. Brazos has had his own practice in the past, too, but he now focuses primarily on research and then is instrumental in developing products that relate to the results of the research - he's into the science of things. Still, Dr. Anderson added a detail in his presentation that underlined the seriousness of this inflammation problem... In studies done at Mayo Clinic, they have linked 51 medical conditions to inflammation! Dr. Anderson held up the April issue of a journal he gets from Mayo Clinic that contained 5 articles alone on inflammation related conditions. Dr. Anderson gave us a lot of information on what sorts of conditions he sees among his patients. It was rather frightening... and yet mostly preventable. He had a lot of stats at his fingertips on when these conditions started to take off... things like diabetes for example. Diabetes is often described as an epidemic, but it has not always been that way. Demographic studies indicate that this increase of diagnosed cases per capita jumped 25% in the last 25 years which takes us back to the mid 80s. Then he asked us a sobering question. "You know what else took off in the mid-80s?" MacDonald's. And shortly after that, all the other fast food Wannabees. Hundreds of studies have pointed to an increase of inflammation related diseases with fast-food diets. Studies also point to high stress life-styles, polluted air and water, over use of drugs and medications, insufficient nutrition, and sedentary lifestyles as major influences in diabetes as well as the other 3 most common conditions Dr. Anderson confronts on a daily basis in his practice. Dr. Anderson said that diabetes is the Number One reason why people come through his door. He treats more diabetics than anything else, some 250 cases in his practice and adds another new one every 2 weeks. Cholesterol problems, heart disease and emphysema were the next 3 most common conditions he treats every day. And that's not all that our high stress lifestyles create - Dr. Anderson says he prescribes a dozen anti-depressants a day! As you can see, Dr. Anderson is not an alternative practitioner. He seemed quite traditional in fact. Which in some ways made his presentation even more powerful. However, he definitely believes in a healthy diet. He recounted the story of a young woman who came to him with her mother who didn't have any specific ailments that he could pinpoint... but it was obvious she was not well. I didn't get down all the symptoms she exhibited, but it was quite a list starting even with just her appearance. Very listless and lackluster for an 18 year old girl. When he couldn't find anything wrong, he started to inquire about her diet. Turns out she lives at the local fast-food joint. It's where she meets her friends and they drink Coke and eat burgers and fries every day. Her mother said she can't get her to eat meals at home. Dr. Anderson asked her when she had last eaten a vegetable. Can you believe she couldn't remember? When he asked her about fruit, she thought she might have had an apple 'last week'. ![]() So where does Nopalea come into all of this? Dr. Anderson recounted a lot of information that shows the strong link between diabetes and inflammation as well as, diabetes and obesity. Something I never really understood was why obesity was so often linked to diabetes and though I can't claim to have understood the whole explanation as he was using unfamiliar terms, the bottom line was that fat cells actually produce inflammation. And inflammation presupposes you to diabetes. This would explain why so many diabetics see such an improvement in their condition if they lose weight. It also shows how Nopalea as a natural anti-inflammatory, is a great product for diabetics! He then went on to tell us that 4 cancers have been directly related to inflammation: lung, bladder, esophageal and colon. Apparently, there is a doctor in Calgary and a doctor at Mayo Clinic who have put patients on Nopalea as a means to reduce inflammation. Dr. Anderson has had his own wellness experience with Nopalea, too. He had inflammation related pain in his back due to an old skiing injury aggravated by a rather comical accident in an elevator, which led to a permanent condition he had just learned to live with. After one month of Nopalea, his back pain was gone. As soon as he ran out of Nopalea, the pain returned. He has since started taking Nopalea again and the pain is once again gone. In fact, he can do things he hasn't been able to do for years. For example, he did 6 hours straight of power washing and had no problems with stiffness or pain afterward. Then he and his pride and joy granddaughter went down a long steep trail to the ocean beach from the house... of course on the way back up, the little 5 year old child started begging to be carried. Unable to refuse her, he carried all 35 pounds of her all the way back up this steep bank... with no complications. Normally that would have put him into bed for a couple days. Dr. Anderson said, "Basically, if I'm off of Nopalea for 48 hours, the pain comes back. So I ask, do you think this stuff works? He also talked about a teenage patient who has had serious dermatitis and psoriasis since the age of 4. Nopalea has cleared up the dermatitis altogether and the psoriasis is almost gone. So as a doctor, he's convinced. He believes that Nopalea treats the inside of us. Even if you can't see that, it's happening. Now the one thing that struck me overall in his presentation is that he believes very strongly that we should be taking Nopalea even as a preventative measure, not necessarily for pain or reduction of acute inflammation. I didn't get down the details, but he illustrated this by how we can often suffer certain ailments for years without being aware of it, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, even diabetes. (My own mother is a classic example of this... they told her that going by the level of neuropathy pain she suffers, she must have had diabetes for at least 10 years before it was diagnosed.) Because of the high stress world we live in, Dr. Anderson contends that it is impossible to keep inflammation at bay without taking proactive measures... such as drinking an ounce of Nopalea each and every day. He even went so far to say that if people kept inflammation at bay, he would probably be out of business, because the greatest portion of his practice is directly related to conditions caused and aggravated by inflammation. He also suggested we take a real hard look at where the medical system is headed. At the emergency ward last week in the hospital he works out of, there were 35 patients lined up for 15 beds. The health board had just cut 20 beds in their 150 bed unit. They have cut 20% of MRIs and (some other test named here). Dr. Anderson has 6 patients who need hip surgery. Now. But they will wait a full year. The only way these patients will cope with the pain is by taking morphine. By the time they get their surgery, they will be addicted. You could see the despair on his face when he spoke about these patients. He begged us to eat well, sleep well, get some kind of exercise and to take Nopalea each and every day. With this simple routine, we can prevent most of our expensive trips to the doctor, the emergency ward, and the need to take ongoing doses of ridiculously overpriced medications. I concur! I know that here in this forum we have focused on the business opportunity, but please be aware that TriVita is actually product focused. One of the reasons TriVita is such a good business opportunity is because the products are so good! So if you are not interested in TriVita as a business... no problem... we can easily set you up with an account so you can just order product. There is no comparable product on the market and the only place you can get Nopalea is through TriVita. On the other hand, I am so totally convinced of the incredible opportunity we have because of this amazing product, that I am offering any THB member who signs up on my team and becomes S&E qualified, their first bottle of Nopalea on me. Free. It's imperative that you contact me FIRST for details, though. Tula |

I just read these amazing stats taken from the American Journal of Medicine. "Conservative calculations estimate that approximately 107,000 patients are hospitalized annually for nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)-related gastrointestinal (GI) complications and at least 16,500 NSAID-related deaths occur each year among arthritis patients alone." (Singh Gurkirpal, MD, “Recent Considerations in Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug Gastropathy”, The American Journal of Medicine) No wonder Nopalea is selling so well! It's a super anti-inflammatory, but without the deadly side effects of Aspirin and Ibuprofen. I have 2 free bottles of Nopalea left to give away this month to anyone who wants to try Nopalea on me. Contact me to see if you qualify for one of them. ![]() Tula |

| Is it necessary to supplement our diet if we are healthy and eat right? I believe it is necessary. Good health is a combination of many factors and can't be created by doing just one thing. Let me explain. Supplements have become increasingly important as our planet becomes more polluted, soils become more depleted and our lives become more stressful. It is no longer possible to optimize health without supplements. Optimum health is having enough energy to accomplish everything you want to do in a day. It is not just the absence of disease. Think about the age you want to reach. Say it's 75 year old. Then look at the 75 year old age group and decide who among that group you want to be like when you reach that age. The 75 year olds who still have all their mental faculties and are able to live independently? Or like the 75 year olds who are disabled in almost all aspects of their lives and are passing time in a care center until their body will take no more. It really is your choice. You may not be able to turn back your chronological age, but you sure can turn back your biological age. I know which group I want to be a part of and as a result choose to be proactive in my health... which includes loading my body with high quality supplements that truly make a difference. Sometimes why people purchase vitamins and then stop taking them is because they don't really feel any difference in their energy levels and overall health. It can seem like a waste of time and a waste of money. And it is actually. If the vitamins you are taking aren't getting to the cells so they can do their job, what would be the point? The bottom line is that unless you are taking quality supplements and taking them everyday, you may as well not waste the money. A regular routine is necessary. Perhaps this will help... you likely know that your body is constantly replacing cells as the old ones age and die off. Now every cell that is replaced can only be built on what is available in your body at the exact moment the cell is produced. So if you are lacking in any particular nutrient at that moment, that cell will not have enough of that nutrient... meaning you have just created a weak and vulnerable cell. The cell will succumb to a biological premature death. That's not an issue if it's just a few cells here and there. Our body is designed very will to deal with that. But what if you wind up with an imbalance where your body's cells are dying off quicker than your body can create news ones to replace the dead ones? This is where premature aging comes in. Every time you body creates a weak cell, it contributes to your own premature aging. This explains the difference between a healthy and able 85 year old and an unhealthy and disabled 85 year old. In fact, this disparity in health and disability is obvious in all age groups. If you think this is an exaggeration... let me share with you that for the first time in history, the current generation is NOT expected to outlive their parents! Very sad. But this is a trend that does not have to effect your own family! Just make sure all members of your family are all eating right, getting enough sleep and exercise and take any necessary supplements to make up for stressful lifestyles and the lack of nutrients in their food because of depleted soils and processing.
