If you're like me, you've set up a great website, landing page or blog and have directed traffic to it, but it seems to be attracting MUCH less visitors than you had hoped. This problem is actually pretty common in recent times and most people have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I'm now looking into the prospect of some new techniques and ideas that maybe beneficial to everyone trying to increase their bottom line. I will be back soon with more details and results from the tests I perform. Thank you, Martie |

| I don't have a great deal of experience with generating backlinks, but I'm still doing a great deal of research, if I come across something I will let you know.

It is a little difficult, but one way I have increased traffic to my blog is by just blogging everyday. I have done it two times for about 30 days each time. When I first done it, my blog went from about 20 or 30 visitors a day to almost 100 visitors a day. The second time I did it recently (October 2011), and I started at around 150 visitors a day. After a few weeks I was getting about 300 visitors a day. Be sure to always post your blog to Facebook, Twitter or any other social network sites you are part of. Then if you so inclined make a video about your blog post and put it on Youtube and other video sites, it does not have to be a long video (maybe just a minute or two about the post) and include your link to your blog in the description. These are a type of backlinks. All other backlinks are for SEO purposes to try to get ranked in Google. They will not bring you as much traffic as the backlinks from social media (like Facebook, Twitter, etc). You can get some backlinks from fiverr.com for $5, search social bookmarketing on the website. Check the ratings and read the description closely. I posted articles on a little known private article directory, and used some of the tools in association with the article directory. Then bought some backlinks from Fiverr.com. Everytime I go through this process for a keyword, I tend to end up ranked on the first few pages of Google. Some fall back a little if I don't continue to build more backlinks, some do stay ranked fairly high. On a starter basics, start blogging everyday or several times a week and be sure to connect it to social networking sites. Try to be all entertaining and informative, and you will get a lot of traffic from social media doing this. |
