This method of generating traffic works for me every single time I do it.

Article marketing is a great way to generate traffic to your site, you can write them your self or you can outsource them. A cheap place to get article written is textbrokers.com

I am sure you ahve heard of article marketing before however most people do it wrong. Here is a way to give your articles steroid and get you more traffic.

Article can drive traffic to your site for months on end, the best place to submit them first is ezinearticles.com and then from there you might want to try goarticles.com and articlebase.com however there are hundreds of article directories around however I personally have got great resyults with these directories.

The other great thing about article and these directories is that they can often rank high in search engines like google giving you even more traffic. And as a side they also provide a back link to your site.

Some tips when writing articles:

Have a great resources box - this is like your ad at the bottom of your article where you sell the reader to visit your site.

As a bonus tip once you have submitted your articles what you want to do is bookmark them with services like digg.com and then to get even more traffic pulling power grab you digg url of your article and ping it at pingler.com and do the same with your article's url.

If you do this you will get more traffic. the more articles you submit the more traffic.

Any kind of "Traffic tool", such as traffic bars, traffic swap and so on are far less efficient than articles posting.

I think the explanation is quite simple:
Who do you think watches ads in traffic bars and traffic exchange tools ?
... other looking for traffic webmasters !!!

So, they would not likely become valuable traffic to you, since their main goal here is to get traffic for themselves!

Articles, on the opposite, bring informations to people looking for it... I believe this is the right place to find valuable future customers...

I agree. I am just starting to get into article marketing.

I always link back to the original article on my blog in the resource box. This gets you some link backs to your blog. I include an opt-in form on my blog after each article. If a person likes your article, they are more likely to opt-in to your list.

One thing about the resource box, most write this in the third person. This causes a lot of people to stop reading as soon as they get to your resource box. They think the article is finished and then click the back button without visiting your links.

However you write the resource box as more of continuation of the article, more will read the resource box increasing the chances of them clicking your links. You should simply ask them to click the link. Tell the reader the benefits they will get from clicking on your link.

Also use the keywords you are targeting as the anchor text. So the reader will not see your link, but the keywords you are targeting. They will see these words are clickable. You may say the benefits and go here: then the keywords you are targeting that are clickable to link back to the article on your blog.

You can buy software to submit your article to a load of article directories. I use Automatic Article Submitter. It works great and has some nice features. The spinning (rewriting) your article is great. You can get an unlimited number of versions of your article. It also has a feature to register to all the article directories and also able to automatically confirm all the e-mails to activate your account.

Also make a short video promoting your article. Put the link to your article on your blog in the description. The video should be short and talk about the benefits of the watcher to visit and read your article. Again also ask them to visit. Post this on as many video sites as you can find. Use Trafficgyser is the best, but it can be expensive. The first month is $1 then $100 a month after that. Tube Mogul is free and not bad choice to submit the video to several sites all at one time.

I just wanted to thank you, personally because it so true is it not? Apart from hype up site telling you, money, money, money .... the end result for business is articles, and people searching for information; not products!

They will only buy, the product if the information is worthwhile and vital; specially when recession is at hand!

That means success only comes to articles writer's; thats means more work for us then ha?

This is the hard reality that many do not want to face.

Many people are very much intimidated by the thought of writing articles. It is hard to stare at a blank screen and just start writing.

Quite often I give away PLR rights to articles I have written so people have a place to start. Even though the PLR articles should be rewritten it helps to begin with a framework.

Another good way to start is by going to an article directory (such as goarticles) and do a search on the subjects you want to write about. After reading a few articles you should have some ideas for your own articles.
