Good Morning THB crew, I just wanting to give some insight into my mind and I hope these suggestion work well for you as they did for me. The first thing I would suggest to anyone wanting to start a home business, small business, or big business is to make sure your personal finances are straight. Make sure your business money isnt taking away from your living money. Risk is good, but stress is bad! Never gamble with your morgage funds. It will let you breath easier and help you keep focused if you're not worried about getting kicked out of your house. Another thing is planning. "If you fail to plan, plan to fail". That rings very true in all things, especially business. A TODO list is a plan. Write down your goals. Build a spreadsheet of monthly money you plan to invest in your business. It will make things go alot smoother. READ READ READ! A great place to start is http://Moneyvelocity.com and TalkHomeBusiness.com. I'm not affiliated with THB, but this is a great place to get information from like minded individuals. Some reading suggestions: Rich Dad, Poor Dad Think and Grow Rich How To Win Friends and Influence People These 3 books will change your whole outlook on dealing with people, starting and growing a business, and paying taxes and keeping legal! I will add more later, I hope this is helpful. Cheers. Last edited by moneyvelocity.com; 03-15-2006 at 10:41 AM. |
