Never thought about the dark side of affiliate marketing. Very interesting to hear your thoughts.

Jamison, I found this video invaluable as a means to help newbies see through the various marketing techniques being used allowing them/us to not only detect deceptions, but to give serious thought before attempting to use similar techniques themselves.

The main point is that if you bring value to the marketplace, you will build a long term relationship with your customers and as a result make much more money in the long run. There is no real advantage to tricking people.

I didn't know this until I became involved with TriVita, but some companies are incredibly strict about how their affiliates market... even to the point of terminating affiliate members if they don't stay within the protocols as laid out by the company. Now I understand better why.

I think people are sometimes afraid to address the "negative" or the "darkside" as you call it of affiliate marketing, but the truth needs to come out. Thanks for stepping outside the box and tackling this topic!

I am glad that you guys got something out of it. I have a lot of meat on the way. I have been holding off a bit as Google made some significant changes over the past couple weeks. I have been holding off to see how things would play out.

I am a newbie (losing my job at the end of the year) and in my research for a work at home business one of my options is to break into AM. I appreciate your video series because it is educating me on the "what to" and "what not to" do's in this type of business. And you (to me) seem very honest in helping people like me to succeed. I applaude you for that. I am following you through your whole series because I believe I can be successful at this.
