What's the best way to market and promote my site? As of now, I'm using Reddit, Digg, Twitter, Stumbleupon, and another forum to promote my website. How else can I market my site? Also, I have a lot of followers in Twitter. How can I spread the word to them about my site? thank U! |

Stumbleupon is good for your kind of sites... keep working on it, add friends etc... You can always follow more people on twitter so that you can get more visitors.... |

You might want to try leaving blog comments on blogs in the same niche too. Target blogs with active comments so that people will notice your link and visit your website too.

I have recently started an internet business and have been advised that in addition to joining several forums also create a blog and promote from their. Like everything it needs to be worked on. |

A great way is to set up a Squidoo lens about your topic and put a few links back to your website. Do the same with hubpages, blogger, wordpress and wetpaint. Don't put too many links back to your site otherwise it will not help you. These are all free methods of helping to promote your site. Hope this is of use. Rich |

Don't get too hung up on "free" marketing methods. You are looking for methods that provide a good return on investment. For example, if you find a method that gives you $2 back for every 1$ invested, you are going to want to scale this into as much profit as possible. I am not saying you are doing this, but many people get so hung up on trying to do everything for free, that they never really make any money. Most of the people that talk about these types of strategies all the time do not really understand effective marketing. Again, it really comes down to your goals, what you are selling, and if you have capital to invest. |

Start making links at do-follow blogs. Try to develop reciprocating links. Place posters. Add a blog part at your site and maintain it by adding interesting content on regular basis.
