Local Online Advertising is the new focus on the internet. I feel blessed to be a part of a company that costs nothing to join (which people need today in this economy) and can help businesses bring customers to them to help boost local economies. Businesses have advertising budgets and we offer advertising on the internet for a low cost, which is usually very expensive, or they don't understand the technology - recession proof. We simplify all of it at a low cost - win-win. Whenever you can be a part of a new technology that is going to take over the internet and be in at the beginning - that is hot, hot, hot!

Let me give you an example of how the technology is being used in a new way. If I am reading an article off MSN.com about housing foreclosures, the ads in the sponsored areas that have signed up with LocalAdLink will be content specific to that zip code. So, in this case the ads will have to do with real estate, mortgage brokers, loan officers, banks, etc. from my area. Someone in California could be reading the same article, but the ads will be content specific from businesses from their zip code. That is new and that is powerful. We are taking what interests people and putting the businesses that relate to that interest in front of them. Additionally, LocalAdLink, a business of Beyond Commerce, takes a businesses ad and pushes it across 100s of search engines, social networks (like myspace, facebook, and Boomj-owned by this company), 100s of thousands of partnered websites, and through 100s of 1000s of e-commerce store fronts (mall owned by Beyond Commerce, so they control the advertising). The bots see this business ad over and over, increasing its popularity, which places it in a prominent position on the internet for the keywords chosen. The package LocalAdLink offers also places that business in a local ad directory, which gives them a profile page that includes a business description, map, driving directions, photos, videos, place for their own website if they have one, and a customizable coupon maker. All of this for as low as $49.95 per month! That is dirt cheap in the advertising world. It costs nothing for people to own a part of this business and they can stand to make a fortune, especially with the potential for stock options they can earn. Local online advertising is hot right now as you can see by reading the news articles and we are going to be on the forefront. The CEO, Bob McNulty stated that we will not be as big as Google, but close. He believes that this summer, we will have the top 100 websites on the internet. That is new and hot, hot, hot. I would love to have someone with your knowledge and expertise be a part of making history and a fortune. |

It looks like it would potentially be useful to local businesses that do not have the knowledge on how to use Google advertising methods effectively. That being said, I have yet to see any actual numbers that are impressive. $99 per month doesn't mean anything without the actual stats showing the cost per visitor and conversion data. In addition, Google already offers geo-targeting. There is no way that Google is going to allow LocalAdLink to take a large piece of the pie. There isn't anything revolutionary about what is being done here. LocalAdLink might be a good opportunity for the right person. However, most people are not polished enough to go around speaking to local business owners. Even if they are, do most people really want a "sales job" selling to local businesses. Selling can be a real hassle and most people aren't very good at it. On top of that, the margins aren't very high. That is a lot of work for a small payout. I am not trying to take the wind out of your sail here. I am sure this could be profitable if you use the right marketing strategy. With low-margin products like this, you have to be getting quality traffic at a very low cost to make it worth while. I can do that. The question is can your average person joining this business do that. Look... Rather than going around hyping up this opportunity, I think you would have much better results if you could show proof of how much success you are having. People don't care about how "revolutionary" the product is. People want to see proof that you have something that is making money. They want to see that you have a system that they can duplicate and get results with. So... if you have figured out a way to make this work and you are successful with this, show some proof. Let's talk about what is working. Otherwise, please stop with all the meaningless hype about this opportunity |

Jamison, I really feel attacked and I thought these forums were for helping people. I only responded the way I did because I felt like you invited me to defend LocalAdLink since you stated that geo-targeting already existed. LocalAdLink has partnered with Google and does know what it is doing and has welcomed it. I have spoken to several webmasters who stated that what LocalAdLink is doing has not been done before, so I beg to differ with you. They have even signed up to offer it to their customers. Additionally, the back office provided for each business has very detailed stats and does not need cost per visitor - that is the beauty of it - a low monthly fee instead of paying each time someone clicks on it. Why did you not comment on the other technology I wrote about? I won't mention it again since you consider it spamming. Most businesses are signing up for a year, so people are making over $1000 off each sale - not so low. There are many people who think big and have signed up national corporations, which will bring in millions per sale - not so low. Again, I thought these forums were for support and help. I feel very attacked and was just trying to add to the discussion about what was hot in the home business world. I guess I don't understand the purpose of this forum. |

I am not sure why you feel attacked. Can you be more specific on why exactly? I was not attacking you. I was simply stating my perception of this opportunity. You have been really hyping this opportunity up. My suggestion was to, rather that hype the opportunity, present solid evidence of where the opportunity exists and how YOU are making money with this. People don't care about how great an opportunity is. People want to know how they are going to make money and how you are going to help them. To be successful with this, you are going to have to really convince people that YOU can help them. What is your plan on doing that. I think it is my direct responses that make you feel attacked. That is not my intention here. I am hoping through what I say that you will really think through your responses to these statements. I want nothing more than for you to be successful. The reason I hit you with the spam comments a couple times is because of your random posts in various sections of this site with links to the opportunity. I honestly felt like your only intention here was to hype your opportunity and get links back to your site. The purpose of this board is to have REAL discussion about what works and for people to give their honest opinions. This is not just a place to advertise and hype up opportunities. The bottom line here is PROVE that there is an opportunity with this. I haven't seen any large packages to sell to major corporations. Provide proof that Local AdLink is a smart choice of advertising. I spend tens-of-thousands of dollars each month on ads. I have REAL businesses in various niches. I am always open to new avenues of marketing that will provide a solid return on investment. I just haven't been convinced yet. Again... prove that this is worth while. Prove that this is a good opportunity for your average person to get involved with. Show that you have a plan on helping people make money with this. This is what I am pushing you for. If you can do this, you will be highly sucessful. Heck... if you can pull it together, I may get involved with you and together we can make it rain. Until then... it is just more of the same old hype. I hope you can se that I am not attacking you. I am really trying to help. Blessings, Jamison |

Jamison, I'm going to get back with you later. I like the way you think and I believe I can come back and give you the substantive kind of answer that will get you excited too. I am fairly new in a company that is barely 100 days old, but I have some people I think can give you the answers you need (better than I can anyway). Unfortunately, they are all in Las Vegas this weekend getting the latest. I'll get with them and maybe then we can get your talent on board. You sound like you work hard at what you do. I'd like to convince you that you can get more out of that hard work and offer more to your customers at the same time. Blessings to you too, Sam305 |
