It is actually quite easy to build a business on the Internet if the offer is good. Most people waste their time using tactics and strategies that are simply not effective. What is comes down to is they are listening to the wrong people.

Remember that a lot of these people out there that are selling marketing courses have an agenda. They make money through selling their courses, not through actually using these methods themselves.

I just wanted to add a little input on outsourcing. Outsourcing is a good solution for busy entrepreneurs and small businesses that would like help from an expert.

When looking to outsource you should be careful I agree. Ask for references, check out work they have done before, and look at their website. Every virtual assistant or freelancer should have a site, if they are offering virtual services I would definitely expect to see their site

If it is your first time working with someone virtually start with a very small project and see how it goes. Then you will know if this individual or business is the right fit for you and if you need to make some adjustments in your agreement with them.

There comes a point when most entrepreneurs cannot do all the work them self anymore and need to seek assistance. This is a good thing, it means your doing great! Just be sure to find the right person to help you and you will be very happy.

Getting Traffic to your site: I know 2 perfect surefire ways to get traffic to your site just like the big boys do.

1st. You can copy exactly what they do and you structure your processes just like them and if you do it correctly you will get what they get.

2nd. You need to go through there opt-ins and order at least one of there products and find out how there processes are working on the back end of things. Its like special ops you have to go in and act like your just a regular guy then absorb all the info you need all the knowledge that trainer or marketer has to offer you then start implementing what you have learned whats in there reports and in there products.

Do what sites that have tons of traffic do and you'll get similar results.

How to prove that those sample work or site provided by the service provider is really something they've done? I've had a few experiences working with different freelancers. All of them showed very good samples, but it turned out that they didn't do what they promised. It's really frustrating..

SE are still the favorite source of traffic for most people. Social networking is another way to get people to visit your site, however, most of them usually are curious visitors.

Personally I like blog commenting. Apart from webmasters reciprocating, you will also get visitors from "those" blogs if your comments are helpful.
