Default What are your views on MLM?

Just wondering what everyone thinks about MLM opportunities?

Me... well there have been some bad ones in the past that have given the system a bad taste for most... BUT with the right program and the right product or service and the right entry price.... I feel MLM is something that when used properly should really really excite people!

The newest opportunity i am starting into right now is kinda MLM but more of an affiliate feel to it.. But i'm finding it to be very exciting and my team members are loving it!.... Mostly cause they're making good money...lol

So... for me MLM.. when used properly with the right mix.... IS GOOD

I think most are scams. Keyword here MOST. I have came across a lot and i mean a lot of mlm companies that cost a lot of money. I have thrown my money away several times. Mlm is not for the weak hearted or for beginners. You must have a feel for the way network marketing works. Thats why I am glad that i found the company I am with. My immediate sponsor sent me an 83 page ebook which allows any begginer to learn marketing. Thats why I give it to everyone who signs up, ultimatly why hide my secrets, I benefit when my downline benefits!

Not all mlms are created equal. If you want to be in a successful mlm you need to find one that has a good product. The product needs to be priced so you can sell it. If the product is good, your chances for success go up. Even after you have this accomplished don't think you are done the business is just beginning. You need to find away to get your product to people who can use it.
In a good mlm you should have excellent team support to help train you for success. A lot of mlms out there get you in and leave you hanging, chances are you will never make it.
Once your going realize that it does take work, but if you stick with a plan and look to your upline for help and training success will be around the corner.

I have found that most MLMs are about getting more people to join and that is how you make your money. That is why I was so grateful to find my company, where you can make money without getting more people in. It also has a product that businesses want, at a low price. Usually, it is expensive to get a prominent position on the internet, but with our new technology, it is possible, without going broke - I know from personal experience. My upline taught me how to use AdWords and I spent a fortune and never got one person. I think when you find a company with a never before done technology, that is special too. We are also having other MLMers signing up to advertise their business and to give their business a jump start. At the same time they are getting in on the biggest thing to come along in years. We will change the way that advertising is being done on the internet.

It's always good to see who the founders are and what success they have had first. This is helpful in deciding if a company is worth the effort you will have to put into it. The founders story usually tells alot about a company.

The key to your success is getting hooked up with the right sponsor. If you can find a sponsor with a strong story and proof to get you going, you are golden. Most people don't realize just how important this is.

I learned this from Jamison. Haha

This is so important. Who you sign up with can be the difference between success and failure. It is very difficult to attract people without a story and prof that makes them want to be involved with you.

I am looking for a good mlm company to get involved with. We should start a new thread about what looks good out there right now.

There are good ones and bad ones out there with the bad ones far outnumbering the good. I did alot of research over several months, until I finally settled on two. I tried both and will eliminate one of them which is a nutritional drink MLM and stick with the other which is an Adult oriented MLM and is attracting alot of attention and is exceeding my expectations on both the interest level (getting people to actually take a tour of the recruitment site) and sign up level given the short time I've been involved (only about 4weeks) in it.

I found one that isn't exactly MLM but kind of is. The structure incorporates the pay it forward principle, and sharing it with 3 people. [SNI}

This one is really only good if you're into energy drinks already - because if the money making opportunity doesn't work, you're at least still left with a discount on energy drinks.. which I find very beneficial, since I drink them everyday anyway.
