When I first started out, I was under the impression that making sales online was easy. At least, that's what many programs and promotional emails had me believe. So I jumped from one program to another, giving each only a week or so before I deemed them a failure. Patience is key. Strong, informative promoting is essential. Don't give up quickly. If you haven't had any sales in a week then consider making a few changes to your promotional material. Maybe your sales page is weak or your emails aren't very informative. Whatever the case may be, it can be fixed. Track the changes you make. Find out what works and what doesn't. |

Focus all your efforts on learning all about internet marketing. Do searches on individual topics (ie lead capture page....and then lead capture page palcement, etc. as you learn more about each topic). Spread the word about your site. If you are doiong direct sales and people don't know about your product they will never be able to purchase. Good luck! And, YES, be patient. I am dating myself but before the internet was mainstream, I designed, manufactured, marketed and sold our own product line of high end desktop products. They were sold in Japan (YMD loved our stuff), Europe (esp Italy), Mexico, and of course right here in the US. We marketed through several different avenues. Trade shows (NYC) had great visibility. Things are SO different now. I no longer do that (when my daughter was born my husband and I no longer wished to travel). We sold lines off and maintained our consultancy. BUT, the point I am trying to make is alll that took time and Focus. If you persist, you will see results. But do continue to educate yourself on methods of marketing via internet while doing so. |

learn learn learn - research research research. You just have to really sit back and look at what it is you're trying to promote. Why do people need it? When do they need it? etc. Then look at how others are promoting the same thing you are. Then just come up with a better offer and market the crap out of it. Find a target audience and focus on them. Won't happen over night but over time you'll start to see results. And don't put all your eggs in one basket... The key to money online is to harness multiple things and generate multiple income streams equalling one large one...lol.. but don't spread yourself too thin. Thanks, Jason |

Im not sure what methods you are using to promote your website. I can tell you that link trading, Article writing and your own blog can help get traffic to your website. You need to get your target traffic to your website. This maybe achieved through a ezine or any other source out there where you will find people who need your service or product. If you have your own website I would suggest that you read about SEO(Search Engine Optimization). The tough part about the internet is even though you find many experts out there, many of them are in no better shape than you. Max-gxl1 |
