Default A realistic income with no startup costs

What I think most people are looking for on the Internet these days are realistic income opportunities. I think most people are put off by these hyped up guarantees of unrealistic weekly, monthly or yearly incomes.

I also think people are tired of paying for information promising legitimate online opportunities. The only online opportunities that I go for these days are ones with no startup costs. Let me try your business first for free to see if it will work for me.

As for me,before getting into a business opportunity,I research the company first. There're legit high ticket programs and also legit low start-up programs. It's also true we're encountering many scams out there that have people fighting to get their money back. I started out on a shoe string budget and found a legit low start-up company that provided me with exceptional training and great results where I was able to quit my job.I'm very happy with my life right now.By the way, I do this on free marketing methods,no monthly fees, with unlimited income potential!

Best to research the company before to see if it's a fit. I am newer to network marketing. When I was introduced to the one I am involved with I liked it very much because it was selling a service, a necessity. And I really liked that part about it.

We researched for a long time before we started our business. Even with all of our research, we still get hit with click here and buy this. We are so sick of getting emails that offer mentoring, only to find out that they want to sell a book or subscribe to this or that.
We have reseached and found online Free, and I do mean Free services that no one every talks about. Just once I would like to speak with someone who is more interested in helping other then reaching they hand into my pocketbook. I know times are hard, but my parents, and their parents got throught the depression by helping out others. This moral obligations to another is what is sadly missing in business and life in general. Sorry for the rant.

I am newer to network marketing, and I too, have been searching for information on reaching out to others on the internet. I saw much free stuff but was not clear on where to start (it was all over the place); I also had books on it. I must admit I clicked on one of those very same deals, and the kid was so packed with information I joined (and have since canceled) just to get his information in one complete organized package. It was not cheap, but it has helped me go on and search out the very same way of doing things, outside his network (it's almost like an mlm within an mlm, or really "affiliate" marketing is the "correct" term). I was involved for a month and a half before I knew enough to start doing it another way. It was never my goal to contuinue with it; just a means to an end. As a visual learner, his videos helped me a lot. But now I have found out and know where I can get capture pages introducing just ME to whomever is interested! I like that. I have used computers for many things over the years, (drafting, rendering, business tool, research, shopping...), but my knowledge of marketing on the internet before I disected his info was limited to that - as an end user. I now have more information and am learning how to approach things differently.

Also, my "product" is more of a service and not available in many states yet. (In fact only three to be exact). I HAVE to get to grips with doing it on the internet, because that is where I can reach people who can use/take advantage of this service. Thus, it was important for me to learn things quickly. My immediate "uplines" are very near to NY and introduce the company to people the old school way. I am not near NY.

I was educated as a product designer and have had many varied experiences. (My husband and I, at one time, manufactured our own line of giftware and sold at trade shows like Accent on Design in NYC; we stopped the minute my daughter was born, quite a while ago!). I have also met with very large companieds and done presentations directly to them. But marketing has changed dramatically from what I know and have experienced. It is hard to keep up...! But I feel I must. And I know that I will.

I joined my company with the belief that I would be doing it on the internet. In fact, I have been talking my friend out of joing just yet, because this service is not available here in my state, AND she is not facile with computers in the least. I want her to wait until she can at least navigate on the computer (she did not even know what a forum was...!), OR until this service is available where she has friends and family. She is begging me and anxious to get started. But there are things she must do to prepare herself before she can do it. Within the next two weeks I will be setting things up for myself differently, and then I will allow her to join me.

I am very glad that you could find all the free info and put it all together yourself. That is the best way to do it. I must be dating myself, because I needed a different approach (crutch) which I am now beginning to abandon.

Now, I am not endorsing this kids' method. I did, however, have to use it temporarily to get me to understand it all.

And if you like the product your company is selling, or think it has a potential to do well, then keep at it. I once had a poster up in my dorm room: The secret of success is constancy of purpose (Disraili...sp???) It is so true in anything in life. Even parenting.

Yikes, I wrote a lot! Anyway, gee, I think I went on a rant, myself. Sorry about that. Anyway, just keep at it if you believe your company's approach is a good fit for you.

Where did you guys find the best info? There is so much to learn from everyone. That is why we are all here.

Well, my opinion is that you find the best opportunities in forums and social networks. Not the ones that people are spamming all over the place though, but the ones that you see people in quiet success. That is how I found and began research about my opportunity.

You're right, there are ways to make money on the internet without any out of pocket cost. And the information you get for that opportunity should be free. Even though you got a wealth of information from that "kid", you probably would have been able to find the same information around the internet for free.

But I digress. As I said, there are opportunities out there to make a nice residual income, and not have to pay for the information, or to join. The reason you don't see more of it, is that most people don't believe its possible. I didn't when I first saw this opportunity in one of my favorite social sites, MyLot. Yes, the "No-Out-Of-Pocket-Cost" drew my attention, but being skeptical of it caused me to just sit back and research instead of joining.

However, after this same person started posting payment proof after payment proof in a lot of his discussions, I finally ventured to get more information from him.

I'm so glad I did, because I found a great opportunity that I can introduce to others looking for a residual income on the internet. I can introduce it to any one of any marketing experience level, because the opportunity provides tools and training. But I never would have known if this person wouldn't have started posting about it in MyLot.

Note, he posted about it, gave information, but never asked a single person to join. That is what separates marketers from spammers. He gave genuine information, and waited for people to ask. He didn't just post discussions saying "Join my Opp!"

Now, you're not the only one that can ramble on lol. But I hope that something in that rant will help you on your journey.

Thanks,
I have been looking at your info a lot. You surely are another one of those whiz "kids" when it comes to computer marketing skills. You know your stuff (just read your info about rotators).

I have recently joined a network marketing co and have actually been doing better than I imagined, but needed to start to do more online marketing campaigning. I am new to this end and have been happy to learn from you.

Thanks for your help. I will continue to follow your posts.

I am doing this out of " need ". I am disabled and the moneyThing is getting brutal. Sometimes I feel so lost on the internet. I am not a "techie" and the terminology and basic steps to getting a website live are like huge problems for me. I wish I knew where to get the real basics. I still think that some of these opps. take for granted that because you want a home business you already know the first baby steps. VERY frustrating.

*Blush* Thanks Theo. I really don't know that much. Everything that I have learned is from the opportunity that I have joined. I am very lucky to have found them. They give me a lot of training on the ways to market effectively and for free. If it weren't for them, I would still be out here bumbling around on the internet. You are very welcome to follow me anywhere Theo, my life's work is to educate others in order to make sure they don't go through the same 6 years of follies that I did.
