I wonder if it always has to be so hard and 'Uneasy'. Because...., 'It's my experience that if you try to hard selling things to people instead of simply focus on giving advise, people can get annoyed and won't order'. It's my experience in (ofline) Sales that strangely enough when you DON'T focus to much on getting RESULTS, and just focus on enjoying your Sales Conversation, 'Than I usually rather effortlessly DO get great results!' Also if you simply focus on just having a nice Sales Conversation you might actually discover possible 'new leads' you would have missed when you where just focussing on the one result you aimed for. I noticed that on my Blogspots I also was trying to hard to sell products, and today I made two of my Blogspot more 'Service Oriented' by - besides - products also put up some extra services, like on my Travel Blogspot a link to a great service for selecting Hotels for example and on my Writing Blogspot I also created a great list of 'Resources for Writers' You can have a look at them at: HP's Happy TRAVEL and HP's Happy WRITING I wonder if it works, feel free to let me know All the Best, To your Happy - Home Business - Inspiration, HP HP's Happy HOME BUSINESS |

Entrepreneur?? Entrepreneurship is defined as exhibiting one’s vision, taking action, and pursuing that vision as a goal. This means getting your butt out of that couch, doing something spectacular rather than being a couch potato. Here are some attitudes an entrepreneur should positively have: Optimism – is the propensity to look at the bright side of any situation and expect the best possible outcome from any series of events. People who feel optimism live their lives expecting positive outcomes and events. Optimism is powerfully motivational and is one of the cornerstones of success. Are You An Entrepreneur? Hi, Here is a useful tip about home based business. The most important step in choosing a home business venture requires that some time is taken to make an honest self-appraisal. This can be done by taking a quiet moment to consider what skills, talents, knowledge base, spare time, possible business connections, financial status, age, physical condition, health and family commitments, among other things, that are available. |

I have just started out using the internet to create a business and the first thing I had to decide was what product am I going to sell. This can be either a physical product and there are ways to sell these without having a stock or the easier way I think is to have an information product. Visiting my website is an example of where after setting everything up all I have to do is then drive traffic to the site. Posting on this forum is an example of how I do this. You have to devote time and time and time to succeed. It does not come overnight. |

So you should put aside some money for new projects all the time. If you are strapped for cash you could advice friends and possibly put in a fraction. Even if you don't earn money you will earn goodwill. |

These are all some great tips for home-based businesses. I do, however, think that UAction has a great point about opportunity in the equation. Without the opportunity, their wouldn't be a business. |

One to add to the list is a private workspace where you will not be distracted by family issues. I have an office at home and when I go into my office I am at work. Regards James Santiago. |

This thread contains a lot of wisdom. Three things stand out. First try out some businesses and be willing to lose money on them. Second Be careful of the businesses you choose there are any number of scams waiting for you.

Looking for a reliable drop shipper and start selling online in a small scale could be one of the best ways to start your homebased business. At least this is something I've been doing for the past 3 years. But don't think that it's easy. You need a lot of patience and effort before you can achieve something. |
