I am verly new to the online marketing world and I am curious which is the most cost effective way to get value visitors who are interested to buy? I have tried using

1 - GoogleAd words - got me clicks but very few buyers, so my cost was more than my profit, no good.

2 - Buying Unique Visitors - got me the hits but never got a sale, i honestly just think it was a bot.

3 - Chat rooms - maybe got few hits and few sales, but the time to actually get a potential customer is just amazing.

4 - Free Ads - like using kijiji was free to use, but not sure if i got any turn out with this.

So yea, i've tried a few things but I am curious as well about newsletters, does anyone have good results with this technique? Thanks to all for the help.
