free classified sites can give you great search engine results, like the one used in my signature.

Free classified ad sites are usually a waste of time. STuff like craiglist and backpage were good 2-3 years ago and I made a boatload of money. But now they are oversaturated with nothing but sellers or people too broke to spend money on real advertising. The BEST free advertising is learning how to Joint Venture. A true win win situation. When creating organic advertising I voice blast, as now it is dirt cheap to do and people get my message instantly.

I agree with ibuzzmentor from my experience. Posting free classified ad usually wasting time. Just try to think, how many pepole will view these free ads actually? There are all kinds of sales pitches, not information there. Few people will waste their time to view the ads picthes.

I think it depends on where you are at and how targeted the free ads are. I have found a few really good free ad sites. I think when starting out free ads are great because you can play with your ads until you find one that you really like and then use it when you pay for ads.

I've yet to see decent results from free classifieds and have to agree with ibuzzmentor. Win/Win JVs are the way to go. Of course if you are just starting out, you may not have much to offer a potential JV partner.

Best bet in that case is to start building your mailing list, either through an auto-responder or a membership site with a valuable, free, front end. Then when you have the numbers, you can begin approaching possible JV partners by asking 1 question... "what can I do for YOU" and not the other way around.

I liked all of the free sites you have listed. I have only checked out a small handful. Now sure how I feel about free classifieds. I was wondering if I could mention another free site. This one hosts your pictures for free. I have had very good success with them so far. This could work out great for novice web designers.

This is a free site which will host your photos. You can upload both photos and videos. I have hosted 24 pictured there in the past, but I don't know what the full capabilities of the site. I have only just scratched the surface.
