Avoid pyramid schemes as these are illegal in most of the states, have you ever fallen for typing at home schemes ?? my friend has fallen for one.

Here's how it worked for him: After sending the fee to the scammer for more information, he received a disk and printed information that told him to place home typist ads and sell copies of the disk to the one who reply. This is how fraud tries to turn you into a fraud.

Always look for terms of agreement and refund policy.
Some of the things you should look for are...
Look for sites with your protection in mind. They will have scam prevention software, 100% percent refund policy, certified with BBB online or similar site, and contact info.
Check also on consumer rated sites and of course forums.

Everyone must do their due diligence. But most of the companies online are not scams. Many just get sold on the hype and dont realize that any business takes time commitment consistency and major effort. You just dont get rich overnite. That is why everyone screams scam but in the end you have to be really prepared to run a business and not a get rich quick program.

I agree that there are many scams online. Here is what I say:
1. NEVER pay before getting information. How can you make a decision on if the opportunity is correct for you if you don't know what you are doing.
2. Is there a refund policy-what is it.
3. Is there a support and training system in place
4. Get rich quick?- not anything that is legit.
