It seems odd to me that so many people are crying about getting ripped off by systems that claim they will make them a millionaire while they sit on their butt and do nothing. Who is ripping who off?!? Our culture is obsessed with finding a way out of actually working. We have all done it, we have all purchased one of those systems just to find that our suspicions and doubts were right all along. Can we blame anyone but our selves for getting sucked into that false sense of entitlement? The lie that we some how deserve the right to get paid without really working for it! I have spent more time and money researching the "lie" then I would like to admit. What I found was that I couldn't handle being apart of an industry that is so corrupt. I was being told to market profit systems on Google and promote Ebooks in articles, but, I really didn't feel right about taking money this way. Knowing that many of the people who purchased were single mothers and cash tight collage kids who don't have money to waste. They were being told to buy websites, market affiliate products using PPCs, dropship on Ebay and so on. The worst was the software that would try and teach them how to resell the same software to some one else! These profit systems often take advantage of people who are really in need of help. Its not that there aren't any quality "at home business plans", but, they are really hard to find. They also require work, commitment, investment and time. One of the best forms of home business model is the duplication platform in my opinion. If you can find someone who has done it right, can prove that they do have a successful business model, then it might be worth the investment. That brings me to another point, investing in a business model should not be a $19.99 or $29.00 decision. The business kit you buy should hurt a little bit when you cut the check, but, you do it anyway because you know that the plan is solid, proven and will give a return on your money. I know there is no way to stop to all the scamming, lying, cheating and down right dirty businesses out here, we just need to have the right priorities before making a purchase. Ask yourself, do I really want to work or am I one of those who are chasing the lie? Just remember the old saying, "if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is". |

Yeah i think we want to work. Specially its so interesting to work at home. Older days its like a dream for us to work from home. But with newer technology its so interesting to work at home. We can earn additional bugs to our pocket easily through work at home. Since we are working only in our leisure time.

None of us really want to work for the rest of their lives. We just want money to fly in from the sky or from the get rich quick scheems that most of us end up falling for. Most people don't go for a home business because they think that it will require so much of their time and money, but what they don't see is the real value of a legit home business. A real and legit home business can retire a person in a couple of years, given that he/she sincerely puts the effort in it. There are so many businesses out there that will say that they provide the best training and support but only some of them live up to their claims. Most of the time, your upline doesn't even give a S*it about you, then yo are basically on your own and you end up giving up. Also, most of us are chasing Gurus and not working in a team of average people. These so called gurus, who have the tools and the marketing knowledge will make tutorial videos which will almost never work for you, and then you will end up paying more and more and more and more.... because they will always leave something out of those tutorials... Just think about it, and use common sense. Lets say for example, you know exactly how to make a million dollar a year, and you are happy making it every year over and over and over. Would you really want to give that secret away to someone you don't even personally know or care about?? I don't think so.... These so called Gurus only have the knowledge and resources to take the money from us [the average people], they really don't want us to get rich. These so called gurus trick us and use their marketing techniques, and tools and those videos to trap the innocents. In my opinion, the only way a person can get rich is, by working hard for a few years. That is the beauty of duplication and residual income because once you have worked hard, then the rest of your life is going to be easy and the money will keep coming in even after you stop working. Robert Kiyosaki, the most sccessful man in the business world, and the #1 selling author of the book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad" said "the best thing a person can do is build a business." because that is something that he/she can pass on to its generation and their generation to come. Here is a 10 min video of Robert Kiyosaki sharing his knowledge. I find this video very very motivational and knowledgable. I learn smething new, every time I watch this. Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad! Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad. ![]() ~Kashif Chughtai ~I maybe young, but I know what I am talking about. The American Dream is to work from home and spend more time doing those things that you rather be doing. The concept that most people seem to have a hard time understanding, is that when you earn a living from home, its not going to be easy. There are business opportunities that can help you fulfill this dream, but you must never lose the determination to succeed or lose focus. Many people want that overnight success, which doesn't exist.

I remember someone in a commercial noting that the american dream is the freedom to pursue one's own dreams. I found it rather poignant, even if it was a commercial slogan.

I agree. Anytime I see one of those programs that claims to make you money without you having to advertise, sell or refer, I just laugh. It's a shame that there are so many suckers out there or else there wouldn't be so many programs like that. I never join a program unless I'm willing to work my butt off to market it. Now I may not always have success with a program but it isn't because I sit around and do nothing. Network marketing requires a serious committment to succeed and anyone that tells you otherwise is just trying to sucker you out of your money. |

That is why it is called a home business or online business. People are missing the point here, it is essentially called a business. Compare it with traditional businesses, you cannot afford to just buy into a business and do nothing. You have to work hard for it but the platform to go into business has been made easier with the internet as there are no budget barriers anymore. Focus, work, focus, work. That's all there is to it. If you don't wanna work it, pay someone to do stuff and all. Remember the very owners of the companies you are working for right now don't want to do what you do and compensates you for doing it. => Starting A Home Business Tips

I think you put the quototation marks on the wrong word. Should be, Do we really "want" to work? I'd like to make millions doing absolutely nothing. But I realize that isn't very likely. So no, I don't want to work, but I do, and very hard. |
