The products I sell are to certain types of businesses ie.Acupuncturist, Medical Spas, Estheticians, etc. all within the Holistic approach.

How can I market through the internet to these specific types of businesses.

I have a website but I am not very internet savy.

showcase your business besides your website.

Also, look for websites that cater to your niche
and contact them to offer your proposal.

I recognize your situation very well. I am also struggling with this.

I have studied a lot of reports and courses on this topic.

The essence seems to be to make it really simple for the prospective customer. It is good to concentrate on one thing at a time and direct the the customer to a specific landing page.

This landing page should have only one call for action.

It also seems like almost nobody is buying on their first visit so it is good to offer a free report or a video. It is good to participate in related forums and to write articles about your field and become known as an expert, eventually.

The headline is the most important part since it will catch the attention or not. I have learned that they should be placed on the upper left part of the page because we are trained that way - that's where you start to read - if your are a Westerner.

One of my favorites when it comes to these things is Brian Terry. He has good blogs where you can find more.

We have all struggled with this so hopefully what I have to say will help you out a bit.

The following ways are some general things to do when promoting a website:

Ezines - Just Google the word and you will find many sites that let you submit your articles for free.

Blogs and Forums - Either participate in or start your own blog or forum. If you are commenting on one, make sure it is specific to your niche. People on a computer blog or forum are there for computer related information.

Search Engine Submittal - Do not forget to submit your site to the top search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. Remember to use good keywords and titles in your site. Be VERY careful when using auto-submitters. Best bet is to submit them the old fashioned way.

Sitemaps - Make sure and create a sitemap of your site. It does really help with positioning. A great free software program you can download is GSiteCrawler. It will generate the appropriately formatted .xml file that Google looks for. It also generates the .txt file for Yahoo. Both of these files need to be in the root of your site.

Robots.txt File - This is perhaps one of the most overlooked things to do for your site. Google it and you will find all kinds of information on how to format it. This file should also be in the root on your site. As search engines servers get more and more congested, these files become more and more important to use.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising - This can be effective if you know exactly what your are doing, if not you will go for broke. But be prepared to shell out some buck to get those popular keywords.

Email - If you have a list, this can be a highly successful way to advertise if you are not spamming. If you do not have a list, generate an opt-in form like a newsletter sign-up or whatever.

Reciprocal Links - Commonly known as link exchanges. These can be useful also, but make sure you are trading with someone who has a decent PR rating. Search engines do place some importance on inbound links.
