Default e-commerce newbie seeks ideas!

Hi, Everyone,

I'm old-school and doing this internet business is sort of confusing at times. If anyone can share ideas about A) how to begin locating downline members or shoppers; B) does everyone have to join some sort of site that sends you traffic and are they even legit really? C) what can a newbie do that is cost effective to start with?

How does one really start so that you don't drown in all the offers from others who are trying to sell you their ULTIMATE/ MOST WONDERFUL/ SECRET/ MOST POWERFUL/ ETC STUFF ON THEIR LINK that is "supposed" to make you super successful?

I guess I'm looking for someone with ideas of A) here is step 1., then B) try this, or C) consider looking for that....etc. D.) avoid this trap, etc..

Thanks- Merry Christmas to All, and to All, .........
Drew in Florida (no white Christmas in our 74 degree forecast!)

Drew and Fendi,

I am quite new also, but I do feel like I have at least one answer. You do not have to join with a site that sends you traffic. That's not as important as your product, anyway. I have talked to several that have had bought thousands of leads and had very few, if any "hits". I think the key is the product. I also think that your upline is extrememly important. When I was looking for a business opportunity those were a couple of my key factors.

I feel like I have found a good team that sells a good product with a good compensation plan. There wasn't a lot of "hype" and get-rich quick jargon thrown at me. That is SUCH a turn-off for me. I don't care that you made 900andwhatever million in two months....I want to know how you are going to help me succeed. I especially like the idea of a whole team working together for the good of the team. I also want a product that is very "sellable" that has a fairly good compensation plan. I feel like I found just the right fit after about three months of searching. I would invite anyone to take a look.

Fendi...I would be willing to let me "track" my progress and give you any opinions that I form of what's working and what's not as I move along.

Sure teamplayer,

You can start a thread here with your journey. Remember, links only in your sig. Otherwise, you could set up a blog for your experience...
