Default Business Cards

Having a business card with your online business
printed on it is a great idea. There are many free
business card programs that you can download and
even sometimes get the software with the purchase
of some business card paper for your printer.

Even though you may be doing online business you
should not be limited to online orders of your services.
You should consider the posiblities of serving your local
community.

I have considered the idea of making giftbaskets and care
packages available online for world wide shipment, but I
will also offer this service to my community and I plan on
putting business cards out on the counters of the local
merchants where allowed and try to strike up some sales
that way.

I see this as a way of opening up as many avenues as
possible to generate a thriving business. Don't limit
yourself to online sales. I've seen many business cards
these days that have the website and email of the sales
person and/or company. Very nice idea.

Issuing business cards is a nice idea. It could help you promote your business as you meet different people along. Make sure that you have a presentable business card. I always go for anything plain and simple because it gives out a sense of professionalism.

OK here's the question - Do you print on one side or on both sides and what quality of paper is best?

Smile Both

Both sides for me as it look more professional. One side with your company logo or slogan on and the other side for all your contact details

Digital business cards is the most popular style today. If you have a computer and printer at home, it is very easy to do it. You just print it in a photo paper. Compared to printing it in a specialty paper, it is more presentable to use photo paper.

They are a good idea, but I don't have the paper required to print my own. And I am sure the paper is expensive. To get them printed elsewhere also requires a lot of money for something that isn't worth it in the end.

Atleast not for me.

I think it all depends on if you meet clients or suppliers in person. Personally I never do neither so I don't see any reason why I should have any business cards. It's great though for ladies or for show off as you can call your self CEO of your own little Enterprise lol.

Hey, to start out, why not go for one of those freebie offers from vista print?

I am going to test this out with some local stores and offer them for free to get some people to visit website in relation to neigbhorhood watch information. I feel there is a need to offer this in many communities

A nice think, I am also using the same technique here, but the number of visitors is too low.
